Koslap updated Twitter. He says that no one is failing the Quad Steps(SHOCKER...oh wait...) or the Log Grip. And the Fail Bridge is actually the Bridge of Blades/Cross Bride/X-Bridge(here's where the SHOCKER goes). So.... Guessing times going to be a big factor since the course is easy as f*** this time...

The Jump Hang and Warped Wall are doing alot of damage out there. There are plenty of talented athletes out there that don't have the legs for either obstacle.
There's very little room to gather speed for the Jump Hang causing people to grab the net low and have their own momentum rip them off.
And there's people just not running high up enough on the Wall to finish.
This is a very balanced course requiring strong lower and upper body strength equally.

More on the Jump Hang:
You definitely need to grab high. You can't "Shiratori" the thing. There have been some people who had an easy time muscling up and over the net, but hooking a foot over first and then rolling over is what I would try to do.
Oddly a couple people had shoe trouble when rolling down the net. One walk-on lost his shoe rolling down the net, took off his other one afterwards, and then couldn't get up the Warped Wall with bare feet. Alot of shared pain was felt then.
But, going over rather than under is the safer bet and saves your arm strength.

Hey, are people still 1 arming the jumping bars? Are they skipping the last jumping bar? Do you know if any big names passed or failed? What was the best time so far? Thanks!

While yes it saves energy is going over a smart move when time is such a major factor? It seems smarter to go under at least in the qualifier

It seems smarter to go under at least in the qualifier Rider, that's alot of rope to go under that's VERY close to the water and the time taken up is relatively the same. Online person so far has taken the under route and none of the competitors I've been watching with seem to think it's a good idea.

Looks like they're trying to make the log grip harder to hold on to.

I don't think he went yet, they're only up to about #50-55. Going real slow because they took a lunch break pretty damn early.

According to cloud, he "killed it". Think he prob has the top time. He was scheduled to run at noon but probably ran some time between 3:30-4:15
Still no word on other early runners like Oti....
Our twitter rep, unfortunately failed the quad steps. Some sumo guy ( ) soaked them and now they are slippery.....

So some people had a vaseline'd log grip and wet steps and some didn't?
...So unfair.
