IMO (and this is just me speaking) it would be best if they had the qualifying and semi-final rounds very similar to how they've been in the past, but then for the 15 in the finals they should have them each go through a Sasuke-oriented course and/or attempt various obstacles over the course of a few days (similar to the boot camp setup in ANW2) but then at the end of this they pick the 10 people who finished with the fastest overall times for all of the events (similar to ANW1's way of choosing the 10 who went of Sasuke 23). That would seem the most fair and efficient process so far if you ask me since it incorporates what I saw as some of the better idea(s) in each of the previous 2 ANWs and combining them with other ideas to make ANW3 the best one yet (third time's the charm, after all ). Also, like you guys said they really should allow them more time training on the obstacles, have no "pressure challenges" or voting, and give them adequate food that will actually benefit their performances. Hopefully G4 learns from at least SOME of their past mistakes this time around... In general though despite how uncertain we all are about everything as of right now, I just want to have a proper end to Sasuke no matter what. It seems that we've got a decent shot at having a 27 and maybe even a 28, but it's very likely the show in a way like a terminal illness---it's never going to recover to what it once was even just a little while ago, and more likely will continue deteriorating as time goes along. Point blank, if Sasuke's going down there better at least be an official, emotional, and in general awesome ending rather than fading into oblivion.

I think they said "fastest and strongest" to go to boot camp. I'm pretty sure they are referring to the prelims and semis. I would be very surpirsed if it was just the camp.

Lol that's interesting.
I don't think we should assume that they aren't having prelims because they didn't say those exact words, but they SHOWED the ANW2 prelims, so I'm going to assume that's what the casting call refers to.
And the Toughest and Strongest from there, go to boot camp.

Just saying Again.. it's waaaaaaaaaaay too early to know wtf is going on. I'm sure G4 is thinking the same thing and being as fague as possible waiting to see what TBS/M9 do with Sasuke.

This is where my thoughts differ from most people's. I will contine to believe that ANW = Sasuke. I don't think G4 would give an official announcement without having the corresponding Sasuke ensured. I don't know where everyone got the notion that ANW doesn't have to be tied into Sasuke. That's the whole point of the competition- to win a trip to compete on the real course. Despite what people here say, I don't think G4 is moving towards having ANW by itself.

It's fun to take information, and go "WELL WHAT ABOUT THIS!?!? or "WHAT ABOUT THAT!?!??" The difference between you and everyone else, is you are going with conventional thinking, everyone else is going for what is possible. You are the most sane

I don't think G4 will make ANW a standalone thing until Sasuke is done.

They say open tryouts, so its definitely seeming to follow the same format as the previous 2.

Just saw the FB announcement that even G4 doesn't know when ANW3 will be taking place. It seems they still have to lock down an available date for where they want to hold the prelims.
So if this is tied into Sasuke, I don't think we'll see this into 27 or 27 won't be airing in March as previously thought.

As David stated on one of Tavis' videos on fb, it seems like 27 is going to be soon, I always doubted that ANW3 would be in time for 27.

Sorry, but it really bothers me when people take information from personal sources and interpret it however they want... He's purely speculating on that one, making an assumption based on when previous Sasuke competitions have taken place.

It's like David is an all knowing prophet (David if you're reading this and you really are I'm sorry)

Heck I do wish it IS true so that he gets a chance to get back to Sasuke without having to requalify through ANW because G4 are friggin' morons

They've just mentioned an ANW3 submission date for the strongest/fastest to compete for a chance to run on a Ninja Warrior obstacle course. This time around, if we're lucky and there's a trip to Japan involved, it wouldn't surprise me to see G4 lock down spots for Levi, Brian, and David as American All-Stars.

If there's no trip to Japan (which I think is more likely) it'll be a free-for-all to see who competes on the "bonified Ninja Warrior course"

I thought David would say something like that based on information he was given. Whoops my bad. EDIT: I guess it was just the way he said it that makes me think he heard something. The fact that there are exclamation points at the end makes me think that this is new news, and wasn't specualation. I may be looking too far into it or is anyone else thinking the same thing?

That would seem like a G4 deal.

G4's gonna give a quarter million to someone who does the best on an eight-obstacled course designed for training more or less? There's a reason it was tied to winning Sasuke.
