Get rid of voting, make pressure challenges a little bit more relevant, eliminate punishments.

Am I seriously the only person on these forums that actually likes boot camp? They like the theme of "boot camp", they just hate the way it's structured. If this show became how you guys wanted it to be, no one would watch it. Seriously... ANW2 had drama, and made some of the 10 pasty white dudes more memorable and added character to them.

No love for Paul K? Jeez... Edit: Possible spoiler??? Hm... How is it a possible spoiler? They can't name everybody. And there's other random people they showed, like Ryan Cousins.

It's possible but I wouldn't put much thought into it. David and Brent got the furthest. Brian didn't get as far as Paul, but he's a fan favorite and is basically taking the spot from Levi as "Mr. America". Maybe they only had time to list 3, and that's just who they chose.

If Paul doesn't make it, I'll consider it a spoiler....

It's a spoiler for thinking too much into it? Maybe David, Brian and Brent are more marketable?

I'll take it as a spoiler. It's purely my opinion. You don't have to think so. But since you want to comment on my opinion, how is Brent more marketable? He's a 30 year old Stuntman and Paul is a 24 year old parkour instructor. They're just as marketable as each other, Paul happened to run before Brent and slip off the knobs. Brent saw this and used it as an advantage and was more careful on them. I believe they're equally skilled and if the run order was reversed, the results would have reversed as well. But I think Paul probably made it into the Top 10 anyway after looking at the list of the top 15 list again. We'll see soon.

Naturally the higher number you get, the more advantage you'll have. Nagano analyzes the course like no other while the 99 people go before him. The #1 spot on the other hand is almost sure to fail (Unless you're Koji Yamada). Let's assume they only had time to show 3. Who would you have shown? David definitely deserved to be listed Brian Definitely deserved to be listed and the third spot is a toss-up between Brent and Paul, but Brent got further so he gets the nod.

He's just a tad more marketable because he got farther. Not to mention did just slightly worse than the best of the Americans in the tournament who failed that 99.9% of people feel is the hardest obstacle Sasuke's ever had. It's better to show someone failing on a massive structure than four doorknobs (if you're trying to show a certain look) and that's not a slight on Paul or Brian.

Brent has more 3rd stage potential but he's more likely to fail stage 1 than Paul in my opinion... regardless of time.

Because Paul is the perfect stage 1 guy. Brent is smaller and more reckless.

Because Paul is the perfect stage 1 guy. Brent is smaller and more reckless. And you're basing this off of what exactly? Brent is a stuntman and does parkour. I think he's just perfect for stage 1, and his results showed it. Paul was too slow and almost pulled a Shane.

Paul was timid, the only person who went before him to get close to clearing is Kawahara. I'm saying don't be surprised if Brent fails stage 1 this time......

And he won't be less timid giving the pressure of the 90's?

I'm sorry but that's a total discussion thread that doesn't need to be in the news thread...

I'm sorry but that's a total discussion thread that doesn't need to be in the news thread... Considering what's already been talked about in the past 36 pages, not really.
