We don't exactly who will compete yet, but assuming we could have these choices, who would get your vote?

I voted for Shunsuke, because I would vote for both him and Levi, but Levi already has a vote.
I also think Brian has a decent chance of getting to stage 2 again.

shunsuke, hes beeen to the third stage b4 and the final, he knows how to beat the cliffhanger i think, so i think he has the best chance, besides nagano, to go 2 the final stage, hes a trampolinest which means hes a amazing jumper so the only thing that might scare him is the cliffhanger and hang climbing, everything else should be easy for him

Nagasaki, of course, but I doubt he's coming back.

Nagasaki, but that's conditional on if he comes back. Otherwise its an open competition between those guys. Lee En Chi (Yenchi?) has never been to the 3rd, Matsunaga ditto, Kenji Takahashi has never beaten the Cliff Hanger and his recent results have been rather mediocre. I like Levi and Brian but I don't know how much the Salmon Ladder is going to affect them in the future. In Miyazaki's case, I may be in the minority but I didn't like how he performed in the 3rd last time. He seemed to struggle way too much with the Arm Rings and it went downhill from there. As for Others, Koji Yamada is even more of a question mark to return than Nagasaki, and guys like Yuji Washimi, Yoshiyuki Okuyama, and even Shinji Kobayashi just haven't been doing well lately.

I'm still sticking with Miyazaki. He's not polished and sleek like the others but he managed to scrap his way through to Stage 3. He did well considering he has no training like the others. I don't bother with Nagasaki since I am under the impression he's not coming back. Nothing official.. just .. looks that way.. ya know? No idea about Koji either. As for Kongo and Shinji I haven't seen them do well in a while.

I voted for Levi because I think he will do well after Sasuke 21. He got a bit cocky and overconfident and realized that afterwards. He will give the course more respect and has the ability to go far. Nagasaki would be the other who could do well IF he returns.
My dark horse for Sasuke 22 is Lee En Chi (although I am biased). ;D

Is it me or is Nagasaki being a sore loser? He fails the first stage for the first time and we haven't seen him compete since.

But looking at it from a broader perspective, I'd say no. I look at it as he simply outgrew SASUKE. In the grand scheme of things, it's probably better for him to be world class in trampoline than to compete in a game show. Besides, SASUKE schedules and trampoline schedules conflicted both in 2008 and looks to be the same in 2009 with World Cup events held in March and September. For what it's worth, Nagasaki is currently ranked #2 in Japan: www.japan-trampoline.com Can't say as I blame him for not wanting to screw that up.

No I can't fault him for not competing. But Sasuke is losing a great competitor who had a legitimate shot at the Final Stage. Do't forget about Shunsuke's brother as well. That will hurt when Sasuke's ratings are down. Too bad...

I would say that Lee En Chi or Brian Orosco is the underdog- someone who has never made it to the 3rd stage but has the skills to do so. Kenji has showed he is capable of doing well, but just can't get that darn Jumping Spider.

I say Shunsuke and maybe Tamasaka. I would love to see both of them go farther...well, Shunsuke couldn't get farther than winning (since he's already been to the final stage before) but I would love to see Takamasa get there as well. Anyway, as far as the poll goes... I voted for Shunsuke because (if he comes back, not sure he will but would love to see it) I think he'd probably get the farthest, everyone (I know obakemono specifically mentioned it in the other prediction thread) here is right, he doesn't seem too phased by new things. Although, my second vote would probably go to Daisuke Miyazaki, I agree with arsenette, he's not polished but certainly has potential.

Well going from the Halfpipe Attack to the Devil Steps is pretty good improvement, not to mention his two Sportsman #1 wins. If he trains more he could go pretty far.
