Sasuke 1 Stage Four
From sasuke 5 to sasuke 21, how many people have timed out at the wall lift?

1 in Sasuke 8 (Nakata), 2 in Sasuke 9 (Yamada, Iketani), 2 in Sasuke 11 (Nakayama, Shiratori), 3 in Sasuke 13 (Nakata, Yamamoto, Yamaguchi), 1 in Sasuke 14 (Paul Hamm), and 1 in Sasuke 21 (Lee Yen Chi).
1 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 1 + 1 = 10 people. (I know Hamm apparently seemingly cleared it in 14, but his forgetting to hit the red button when time ran out technically should qualify as a time out.)

Nagasaki also timed out in 14, so would that make 11???
EDIT: Wait, that's still 10, because Nakata timed out twice. Nevermind.

homeslice got the question right with ten even though he forgot Nagasaki in 14, he counted Daisuke Nakata twice. Because I only asked for a number, homeslice is right.

I had forgotten about Nagasaki in 14 - so I'm wrong, then I'm right. Huh. I guess then I don't move up, exactly, I'll still be at Sasuke 10 - Stage 1.
What was the reason Bunpei Shiratori missed SASUKE 10?

3 (Yamada Katsumi came closest to top) 4 (I don't have to explain this one) 5 (Yamamoto Shingo is the only one to Stage 3 6 (Yamada Katsumi fails Pipe Slider, only one to make it there too) 7 (Yamamoto Shingo is the first to reach the new Final Stage) 9 (Nagano Makoto becomes first person to officially beat the redesigned up then down Cliffhanger) 10 (Yamada Katsumi on the Pipe Slider again) 11 (Nagano Makoto makes it to the Final Stage) 12 (Nagano Makoto misses victory by fraction of a second) 13 (Nagano Makoto is the only one to the Final Stage) 15 (Takeda Toshihiro is the only person to reach Devils Swing) 16 (Shiratori Bunpei is the only one to make it to the end of the Pipe Slider (actually he got furthest by moving one slide forward)) 17 (Again.. Do I have to say it?) Possibly 18 (Nagano Makoto is the only one not to fall in the water but he still fails the jump from course out, but since he held on and made it to the next platform I'll still say it counts) 21 (Nagano Makoto to the Gliding Ring)

How many obstacles have only lasted one tournament? And how many people passed stage 1 in the tournament of the same number?

1) Kosuke Yamaguchi (failed Rope Climb in 12, then Wall Lift in 13, then Rumbling Dice in 14) 2) Katsumi Yamada (failed Warped Wall in 8, Wall Lift in 9, Pipe Slider in 10) 3) Naoki Iketani (failed Rolling Log in 8 - I believe - then the Wall Lift in 9, and the Cliff Hanger in 10)
