A few people mentioned that they've never seen the Viking episode with Nagano. There's now a clean copy (previous ones were reaaaaaally blurry). If you don't know where to find it.. PM a mod.

Cool, thanks. Btw, is this the one with Shingo, or was that the first one?
Edit: Never mind. I just watched part of it and saw Shingo.

Shingo's fail was so typical.. LOL Though I really wish he did better I would have loved to see him in the next stage.

Yeah, I remember seeing Shingo's fail before. Someone used to have this episode up on YouTube a couple of years ago. What is it with Shingo and letting his feet touch the water? And yeah, I wanted to see him in the second stage. I wanted to see him wear that ridiculous do-rag, LOL.

Aahahahahaha yeah.. I hated those do-rags.. glad Nagano ripped his off before the Heart breaker. I have a special bond with this video simply because it was the very first Sasuke-type anything I've ever seen. THIS was my first introduction to the All-stars, etc. Granted I only saw the ESPN version which was edited worse than G4's production if that's at all possible.. LOL and dubbed over by someone that sounded like John Tesh.. I had that JET version but it was horrible.. so it was nice to replace it with a viewable copy! It was cool seeing a 13 year old Keitaro Yamamoto (UNCLI #5) and of course Mr. Octopus mooning the crowd.. LOL Thing never change

I'll be honest, before I knew who TERU was(and after I saw Sasuke), I thought he was a carpenter because of the similar headwear.
Anyway, I saw this WAYYYYYY back when on ESPN2, when I was, like, 6. And now Aoki clearing the Odyssey is hilarious. So, I'll watch it when I have time

Thanks for this heads-up. I don't check the place too often these days, but I'm really looking forward to seeing a full Viking.

Not a problem It's a sentimental favorite.. though with the heavy use of Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack.. I doubt the DVD will ever see the light of day

Is it just me or did the @ site announcer pretty much sound like a Japanese Mushmouth? I could barely understand when he referred to obstacle names or the competitors.

Man props to the guy who put it up, great quality compared to some of the stuff around. I have one question though. Why didn't Nagano need to do that balance pole obstacle in stage three? I thought that was pretty strange how he only did 2/3 obstacles there. Also, that last stage must be a killer on stamina. If I had not already known that he times out, I would have looked at the time, looked at the last rope and would have said it was going to be a piece of cake for him compared to the sasuke 17 final stage.

Why didn't Nagano need to do that balance pole obstacle in stage three? Because in the Fantasy Stage for 1 and 2, you're given a choice, You choose either Steady Voyager or Ultimate Plank, Nagano's choice was Ultimate Plank, you do one or the other, not both. Viking has some different rules than Sasuke if you didn't notice

Eh, I don't really like Viking as much. It's OK though. Nagano was the only one to make Stage 3? Some of these obstacles seem incredibly easy. I did LOL at Aoki's first obstacle clear. I guess I could of seen Yamada's fail coming. Kuramochi's run was awesome to watch for me (and yes probably for Yamfriend too lol). I hate the Brain Ship Stage because of the fact that you have to eliminate someone.

Too me Viking always seemed WAY harder than Sasuke, until Shin Sasuke came along at least.
