Wow, I had to smite you because of some of the things you said. If you think Nagano is the ONLY one who can do it, you're wrong. There are a lot of people who can do it, people just have bad luck. I believe Takeda can do it, he's shown he has the ability to. And with a ladder+Rope for the final stage, he should in theory be better at it than Nagano seeing as how he climbs ladders and ropes everyday as a firefighter.

It's not that farfetched. Personally I don't believe anyone (who competes) apart from Nagano and Takeda are capable of passing the third stage at the moment. This assumption is of course based merely on what is available to us for viewing, but I think it's reasonable. Doesn't reduce my enjoyment of watching Sasuke any.

Smiting me isn't going to change my opinion. These boards, and life, would be pretty boring if we all agreed on everything. Anyways, I'm basing my opinion on past results. Nagano has reached the Final Stage 4 times and beaten it (almost twice). I'm not saying that I don't want anyone else to reach the final stage, I'm just saying that I don't see it happening ATM.

What does religion have anything to do with it?

What does religion have anything to do with it? Absolutely nothing. However, you were lamenting the lack of discussion concerning Akiyama and he asked a question about Akiyama. A completely pointless and irrelevant question, but a question just the same. I could rant and rave on the tendency of people to classify others on the basis of religion, but I'm as guilty of off topic skewing as anyone.

it doesnt matter to me i was just wondering cuz i thought i saw him wearing a cross necklace during 4 so i was just wondering Unfortunately just because someone wears a cross doesn't mean they are a Christian. In fact, most of the time they're not. And sorry everyone for getting off topic. We should be talking about Akiyama. TBH, I'll be just as excited (if not more) about seeing Akiyama return than Shunsuke.

Well remember, Yamada had problems with the Pole Maze in 19 and then beat it easily in 20. I think Akiyama will be fine for the first half of the course, including the Maze, but he's never been overly comfortable on the Warped Wall. The wall and the clock will probably decide Akiyama's fate.

Providing they haven't moved the Hp-A rope and He has heavily studied studied it I think he can pass it, the Warped Wall I doubt he'd have too much trouble with as he has one in his yard and by the times they showed it in his profile it looked higher than the one on the course back then (which was the 15 foot one) so if He still has it I think He can pass this one.

Like I said, If they haven't moved it and hes studied vids very carefully (Hopefully with help) I think he can beat it, its not a matter of his skill but his eyes. The Flying Chute I don't think is too much of an issue for him, its a thick rope and if hes in the general area he can grab it.

Whether he passes the first stage or not, I'll just be glad to see him compete again.

The Flying Chute I don't think is too much of an issue for him, its a thick rope and if hes in the general area he can grab it. That rope has so many different ways of preventing a competitor from passing. You could misjudge your jump, you could grab the rope wrong, or let go of the rope too soon, maybe fall down the net, or not land on the rope correctly. But we might see some changes because of last time's 1st stage results. I think Stage 1 will annihilate 9/10ths of the competition as it always does anyway. I'm still really subjective on Akiyama's success in 22, he barely had that Jumping spider last time.
