I'm telling you, this is what irked (well, still irks) me about all this...one day in the future, there will be a tournament (assuming SASUKE goes that much longer) where only the Americans will clear stage 1 and the geniuses at G4 will explode and go "LOL OMG NO ONE CLEARED THE FIRST STAGE!!!11!!1" Trust me, this is G4 we're talking about.
Back to this broadcast...yes, most of us knew the Americans'd be cut, but it still doesn't make it right. But another thing that made me facepalm was the fact that they said that it was Iketani's 11th time to SASUKE...where by my estimate I think it was, what, his 17th tournament? At least they acknowledge that his last Stage 1 clear prior to now was in 2005.
And they did do good in showing Takahashi and Kanno (or as Wittenberg says, "Kannnnnno"), and Hashimoto too. But they need to get Li's name spelled right. (Though honestly, I don't even know what right is anymore in his case.)
All in all, this wasn't too too bad of a broadcast other than the blatant retconning of the Americans. It'll happen again. (The retconning, I mean.)

I'm waiting for an American to reach the top of the tower *Cough* David *Cough* and then Sasuke (insert # here) will be broadcasted saying that nobody reached the top and then g4 will have to slither their way out of eplaining why the course changed in Sasuke (insert # + 1 here).

Either way you are warned.. doubtful Challenge will actually reedit in the Americans into their broadcast. I know some countries literally skipped 23 and went from 22 to 24. Which cretes it's own problems. People are gonna be wondering why Yuuji, the previous finalist, got a lower start number then Kanno, who as DQ on the 3rd stage.

G4 has been pretty consistent.. it's "omg they failed" commercial break "wow look who passed".. rinse and repeat.

At the very least, they did put Nagano's and Urushihara's run last instead of ending with Lee's or Okuyama's run.

All G4 could hope if that happened is that the course had some minor changes. If an American *Cough* Brian *Cough* (LOL) could beat it they'd get the $250,000 that G4's bitching about on ANW2. G4 better start praying that the course doesn't change much if American Brian (sorry, I just want Brian to do it so bad) reaches the top and the Japanese and Li En Zhi fail and they show their super fiction broadcast. Also they'd have to mention the winner and maybe make an excuse why they didn't show the kanzenseiha. I don't even know how to predict what happens anymore.
