With the Pipe Slider gone I think Takeda can make it to the Final Stage. The only reason he failed Stage 3 all the time was because he couldn't do the Pipe Slider jump, now that its a low friction ring with a notch he can make it. i doubt it. Yes the pipe sliders gone... but the glding ring is much much harder, and as far as i can see (i dont know for sure) rings are harder to swing than pipes, not to mention if u see all of his pipe slider jumps not enough distance or not enough height. now, that ur lower than i the mat, or equal to, your have to get enough height and 1M of distance to swing. So from past pipe slider prefermances i dont think he'll do 2 well

Theres less friction so when its at the end its more likely to stay there, plus they added that notch to keep you in place, its not that hard.

S1 = 11 S2 = 5 S3 = 2 final = 0
Also for fun what changes do you predict will be made to the course if any?.
IE
S1 = 1 changes S2 = 1 changes S3 = 0 changes
finally although the line up isnt fully confirmed yet about these people who are most likely to be there how far will they get and what will do them in?
Makoto Nagano - final stage climb Toshihiro Takeda - gliding ring Bunpei Shiratori - time out 2nd stage Shingo Yamamoto - cliff hanger Katsumi Yamada - Time up 1st stage Kazuhiko Akiyama - Jumping bars (lack of vision) Daisuke Miyazaki (Mr hand ball) - cliff hanger Kenji Takahashi - not compete Yuji Washimi - salmon ladder Paul Anthony - jumping spider Jordan Jovtchev - not compete Shinji Kobayashi (Garbage Man) - Minoru Kuramochi (The Octopus) - Masami Harashima (Hang Glider Man) - Yasuo Aoki Koriki Choshu - sextuple steps Naoki Iketani - cliff hanger Levi Meeuwenberg - gliding ring Brian Orosco - cliff hanger

Also, I think Takeda looked his best he's ever been in Sasuke 21. The only other tournament to compare it to would be Sasuke 17 where he made it to the Pipe Slider. He looked like he still had a lot of energy left, as evidenced by how long he hung from the Hang Climbing, so I definitely think he can make it far. I totally agree with that assesment. Takeda looked ike he was rejuvenated and I think he coud get to the same point and maybe even to the Gliding Ring. To get past that obstacle, you need a lot of strength, stamina and luck.

I think it was partially due to him beating the first stage again finally. Beating the salmon ladder and new second stage for his frst time, and being the first person EVER to beat the shin-cliffhanger.
I bet those were real confidence boosters, and he didn't think anything could stop him.
Except for a new obstacle which he didn't know how to do...
Anyway I hope he does just aswell if not better than in Sasuke 21. I hop he'll use his loss as more motivation. He knows he can do it now.

Well not exactly first ever to beat it, but the first in competition to beat it (theres video evidence of testers beating it, not to mention recreations at events or home-made ones)

You know I think I'll take a wild and crazy prediction that maybe Shiratori might make it the farthest in this tournament. Just my thoughts.......

I want Shiratori to do better and hope he's doing better this time around. As evident by his total sucking wind after Stage 1 even WITH all that he made and I'm was ecstatic. I love his work ethic and quiet demeanor. Just totally sucks he lost his balance and psyched himself out so badly in Stage 2. I'm sure he wanted to beat the crap out of that Salmon Ladder so badly he freaked himself out. And yea I agree if he gets past that point he can go a VERY long way..
Agreed on Takeda as well. He's in remarkable shape this year and although taped like crazy to keep his shoulder intact he still is as strong a mule now.

Anyone who could make it to the Pipe Slider on the last iteration of the third stage has a decent chance.

You both killed each other, congratulations. Anyhoo I'm not that fond of all this prediction discussion that have been going on for a while. I will say though that I don't think we'll have the same success we did in 21.

Although we can hope we can finally get a change to the first stage. Lets hope the Pole Maze and Rokudantobi are GONE!

I quite like the Steps, they've become something of a Sasuke trademark in the same way the Cliff Hanger has, but I do miss the days of there being a different first stage every tournament.

There are two First Stage trademarks already, the old classic the Warped Wall, And the second stage classic the Spider Walk being the Jumping Spider. And it wouldn't be the first time we've lost a staple *cough*RollingLog*cough*
