I've got to bring this up.
If 12,000 gems = 100%, 14,000 gems = 116.67%

Get Portal 2 for the PS3 because you get the PC version of the game free with it. And you can transfer your save data from one version to the other.

So I ordered Portal 2 for PS3 and it arrived this morning. I haven't opened it yet, but I'm a bit hesitant with what's been going on with PSN though. Anyway, I've been meaning to post this since a week ago but I've been busy all week: "Support Japan with this Dreamcast PlayStation 3 Theme!" blogs.sega.com/usa/2011/04/22/support-japan-with-this-dreamcast-playstation-3-theme/It contains both the European and North American themes.

Paying for themes is the biggest rippoff Sony has ever done.
... but it is helping Japan... so whatever.

I agree. Paying for themes is lame.
However, these Dreamcast themes are free.

This is a move by Sega more so than Sony. For one, they're using the proceeds towards relief work, and two, that's really the only way they'd be able to do two things they want at the same time (release a theme, and help w/ relief).
There are some free themes available, I've downloaded a few whenever I was on my cousin's PS3 before he moved out. I also purchased like, 3, one for me, my cousin, and his brother. Point being, there are still themes you can get for free, sure they may not be as good as the paid ones, but that's how this works.

To anyone interested, starting tomorrow and ending after a week Portal 2 will be $20 off at gamestop, on all systems.

I'm watching a 100% spped Run of Vice city, and it got me thinking. Giving a opened copy of the map, how quickly could someone collect all 100 packages?

I tried out the themes and they're pretty cool. My little sister thinks the icons are funny since they have little faces on them.

Amazon is selling the PS3 and 360 versions of Portal 2 for $35 and the PC version for $30. Don't know how long this'll last but I'd definitely jump on it.

Along with the announcement of Soul Caliber 5, they've announced a movie: TEKKEN BLOOD VENGEANCE
Some big names working on this.

PlayStation Network (PSN) is back online for anyone with a PS3 that might've been affected by the downtime.

I am excited for Dark Souls.
SUPER HYPE
Demon's Souls I was incredibly hyped for. Usually that spells trouble. Like when I was super hyped for FF13 I just got let down. DS was one of the few games that not only met, but exceeded my expectations.
Needless to say I expect the next to be even better. They've learned a lot from the first game.

A bit late I know, but CAPCOM announced a "director's cut" of sorts for Dead Rising 2 entitled Dead Rising 2: Off The Record. It seems to be more of a re-imagining of the original DR2 but with Frank West in the lead and with all new twists and whatnot.
I'm not sure how to feel about this, Capcom dropped the ball pretty badly with Case Zero, but I'm an avid Dead Rising fan. Has anyone ever tried these director's cut sort of games? Are they generally worth forking out the cash for?

Depends on how much it is.
If you already have the game:
Full price? No way.
Half price? Still no.
10$? yeah
