And it also saddens me when good companies (like gainax) pick up an average, or a not so good series.

Just finished watching Noir, twas a good series, but like Claymore it took awhile to get anywhere good, more so than Claymore did too. Took like 4 episodes for Claymore to get interesting, Noir took like 8. Up next is a struggle between Gurren Lagann and Death Note, I can't decide between them =/ And it also saddens me when good companies (like gainax) pick up an average, or a not so good series. Too bad Anno packed up Evangelion and went buh-bye with the IP. Granted, they still co-own it w/ Studio Khara now, but they're not involved in development anymore.

I never got to the last disk of Noir.. and it wasn't because I didn't want to see it.. My husband and our best friend (who owned it) got tired of it and didn't want to see the end.. Aaaaaaaaaargh It's not on netflix either.. Don't think though I'll buy it.. so I'll wait..

Should get around to it sometime tbh, the end kinda...repeats itself alot on the whole "who is noir" dealio, but it's satisfying to see some closure.

Can't believe you're just now seeing death note and gurren lagann. Those are 2 staple shows in their respective genres.

I never watch anything on TV, as I hate watching only 1 or 2 episodes a week, and have to wait to finish the series.
I'd rather get the entire series on DVD or download it, and watch 8 or more episodes in a single sitting (usually 12-20 in actuality).
Sooo, I tend to hold off until a show is completed and died down a bit.

I was catching up on some other series at the time that they came out.

I get too lazy to go buy the DVDs or too lazy to download them.
Partially because i'm playing games more often than not. =/

I don't buy them or download them. There are lots of anime sites out there where you can watch them for free. www.animeseason.com/anime-list/That's where I watch most of my anime.

I'll do that too, I watch on AnimeFreak or AnimeFuel, but I tend to only do that if I can't find a place to buy / download good quality.

I usually use this site for the new shows (as in watching while they run, some a bit older though) www.animetake.com/

The three shows that I've seen from the Summer season look good. Blood-C is one of them. The other two are Kami-sama no Memo-cho, which you have to watch(It's the only NEET thing to do), and Sacred Seven, which is Sunrise's newest mech project.

Usagi Drop has been talked about a lot, and the penguin drum anime should be good considering the creators past work.

Well... With the summer season I'm just going to repost My post from my site about it *innocently whistles about comments on a few* Just a few updates though... Already seen first eps of Double J, Blood C, Kami-Sama no Memo-chou and Sacred Seven, and I've seen the first 2 eps of the original Baka to Test and the original OVA for Twin Angel, I expect to be watching both (although I'd have to finish Shoukanjuu first but still...)

Wow, i'm a bit late to the discussion again, but on that list, looking forward to Appleseed XIII, Blade, and Blood-C.
