This questions been on my mind for along time. Say Akiyama didnt win, do you think they still would have made the changes? I mean 37 passed stage 1! 37! and 11 to stage 3!
do you still think that they would have added the jump hang and warped wall? what changes if any would they have made?
Personally, i think they would have added the warped wall but not the jump hang and decreased the time limit to say 50.

I dunno, Maybe they'd just make the Hill Climb longer and made the Balance Bridge like the Kunoichi version (the one with the holes in it)

I think everything will stay the same except for the first stage which would change to the way it is in the real sasuke 5

Stage 1 -- Probably a change to the Balance Bridge
This could go so many different ways, but I would think another balance-based obstacle would change, kinda like the Spinning Log to Rolling Log change after 34 people passed in Sasuke 2. Perhaps the Balance Brige would have changed to something either like the Kunoichi 3-hole Balance Bridge or off-center Balance Bridge, or even the Big Boulder.
Stage 2 -- Unchanged from Sasuke 4
It did eliminate 70% of the competitors in Sasuke 4, after all
Stage 3 -- Shoulder Walk, Propeller Bars, Arm Bike, Cliff Hanger v1, Pipe Slider with jump unchanged from Sasuke 4
This is another one that is hard to predict. The Pole Jump/Super Vault doesn't really mesh with the tone of the Third Stage that the Cliff Hanger set during Sasuke 4, and the "test of upper body strength" idea it created was clearly positive in the eyes of the designers give that they kept the Cliff Hanger and made it harder the very next tournament. The rest of the Third Stage was just fine (taking out 10 of 11 participants), and multiple Third Stage clears weren't a bad thing at that time. I think that some sort of balance obstacle would begin the Third Stage, not be too difficult, and require strength. I think something resembling the Shoulder Walk of Sasuke 18 would be put in and the rest unchanged.
I don't think the Jump Hang, Warped Wall, Tackle Machine, Body Prop, or Cliff Hanger v2 would have been added.
Personally, for stage 1, I would have added the Spinning Log between the Barrel Climb and Rolling Log and changed nothing including the time limit. It would have taken out some competitors, been fun to watch, and it would have made people go a little faster through the course.

(kindof going off subject) But I jsut watched sasuke 5 (g4 version) and they said Yamada has a heart of gold?!?!

I think they would have put Soritatsu Kabe in, maybe replace the Rapid Descent?
