David - I didn't see the ANW broadcast and I thought for sure he was going to beat it especially after seeing him beast the first three obstacles and the first few ledges. Lee - I didn't think he was going to beat it but he performed as expected for me. I knew he wasn't going to clear it as soon as he set up for the jump from ledge 4 to 5 by putting his hands together (which is exactly what not to do there). Okuyama - I give him mad respect now because I never would have thought that he would have gotten to the 4th ledge. He seemed really comfortable on the first three ledges and it is clear that the ledge he built at his home was a great investment.
Brian - that really shocked me. I thought for sure he was at least going to get to the UCH. I find it very saddening that they ff'ed him too. What happened anyway? Not enough spray or chalk?

SASUKE Guessing Game Results: 26 (VI): 2nd (114 points)
For starters, I was shocked that ANW ended up telling 2/3 of the stage 3 story. I'm not surprised by Lee, but ecstatic for Okuyama. His near Floating Boards disaster last time made him look far less capable than he really was.
I keep saying this, and I know most of you probably think I'm weird, but I think the Doorknob Grasper is the key to the third stage. If you can glide through like David did on the Roulette Wheel and somehow easily cross the Doorknobs, I think there's a good chance of clearing the UCH.
I hope they make the Doorknobs in 27 like they did in 25.
Oh I agree actually, the doorknobs took the most out of me. (I've got a better technique now though.) Also I wasn't prepared for how short the rest breaks were, they have a 30 second stop watch and want you up on the obstacle BEFORE the 30 seconds is up....so it's actually like 29 or 28 seconds. (I feel like this might be rule they made up for this tounamant after watching old footage?) I totally thought I was going to easily clear the UCH and was just shocked when my grip gave out halfway through the 3rd ledge. I kept pushing for the 4th, but I knew I was done. Having another 10 seconds or so to rest before the UCH would have made a big difference.
The 3rd stage for me was as expected. I didn't think anyone could defeat the UCh and noone did. But I'm just excited for the guys who did get that far on the UCH - brilliant! They are going to have to make changes- maybe taking out that tiny ledge would make it more possible. Rememeber there are stil 2 or 3 tough obstacles after the UCH and it would be nice to see at least 1 person try them on.
The RC obstacle reminds me of the Rumbing Dice in 14 and 15. It took so much out of you and that's why people didn't get so far in stage 3. IF they take it out and put st like Arm Rings back in, you could see some guys go further. Didn't like the Cycling obstacle, but Isee why they put it in instead of the tougher Floating Boards.
It was kind of expected, but at the same time, there was still hope.
I guess with the fact of how they made the changes to the first 2 obstacles and still kept them back to back, it does effect everyone in some shape or form.
I see a foreshadowence from the UCH! No All-Stars have reached it. Only one member of Shin Sedai has reached it, and a few forgeiners. I sense a third party...

To bring this back on topic, the results are completely unexpected, especially the Americans. Everyone expected Brian to clear the doorknobs....he didn't even reach it. Everyone expected the doorknobs to be easy........ they made it rotate and took a lot from the competitors, and eliminated one. I completely changed my opinions about that obstacle now.

Apparently they rotated in 25 too, David said he asked Brian about that.
I can't believe that. No one seemed to struggle in 25. If they turned, it must have been very slight. Maybe Brian was mistaken because people seemed to have no problems whatsoever.

You guys seem to be forgetting something... The Roulette Cylinder... 25 it was short and straight.. 26 had a longer track and 2 drops, You were more tired getting there vs 25

That's definitely a factor, but David got to the DG faster than anyone else and still struggled. There had to have been at the least a minor change.
