No. No one should ever quit Sasuke, unless they are physically unable to run the course (injuries).

love him or hate him.... he is one of the driving factors that made Sasuke.... welll... Sasuke.. I voted no. All those people who hate him hate him hate him for things like not reacting when his friends "retire" but, when he does this (from what I have seen) its usually him trying to get into the zone or zoning out what is happening before his run. I think he is misunderstood.

He should definitely continue if he wants. If it's too emotionally draining, though, he should just give it up.

I hope he clears stage 1 eventually. It's been way too long since he last cleared.

I think he should compete, but not take his fails seriously. I mean he should give his best and not be upset about it. He looked pretty upset in 26 after he failed.

I'm glad he's upset because at least he's showing it means something to him. We all know it does, but I don't think anyone wants to see him smiling when he gets out of the water. He still looked a little slow in his run. He and Nagano need to get some leg strength back.

I think if he's going to do 27... he has to go balls to the wall. He CANNOT let himself pause for any reason and if he wants it THAT bad and is SO dedicated at this point he can't fear injury. He must terminate zis corse!!!!!

I voted yes Sasuke is bigger than one person IMO. He's not hurting you or Sasuke by being there. So I don't see why he should, granted he's not hurting HIMSELF. He should just start going for "fun" at this point. If he stops being so serious it should be fine. Don't say he should quit just because you personally don't like him.

I don't like him for several reasons. 1st and foremost.. anyone that forsakes a job and even their own family needs to get a life.. I mean seriously.. it's an effing game show.. No family is worth sacrificing for that. He always takes it seriously.. that's how he got into this mess and why his kids won't even speak to him. And P.S. It's a poll and I'm not the only one that voted ...

I wish Yamada would be happy with his accomplishments, and set goal like "Get this far in stage 1" instead of trying to beat it. Despite his setbacks, Yamada has had some pretty impressive runs. Disappointing since it seems he doesn't see that.

No. He's a draw. There's other competitors who show up every year and fail stage 1. He also made it further than Shingo, Kongu, and Kanno this year. Let him run as long as the show continues and as long as he wishes to.

Depends upon his mental state. If he wishes to continue, I do not mind at all; however, if further participation continues to tax his mental state, I would rather him walk away from Sasuke, competition wise at least. I do miss the days of the Japanese Terminator, but everyone reaches old age. I wish him the best of luck though, regardless of his decision.
