Rewatching Levi's second stage run in Sasuke 21 and after he gets the bar lop-sided a few few times u can see him (not once but twice) but his feet back on the mat. Wouldn't this be a DQ?

Umm I don't think so cause technically its on the course and it is the operators' faults for not moving I guess. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

I guess you could argue that it is. But since the mat hadn't been pulled away, why shouldn't he be able to steady himself or try again? Doesn't really matter since he ended up in the drink anyway.

If it's still there.. it's legal.. I don't know why it wouldn't be... It's part of the course... you're allowed to touch it in fact you're supposed to... If anything Nakata Daisuke would have been stopped more since he kept going back to it.. Did the clock keep going? yes..

Nah just the thought process was, if you could still have ur feet on the mat and on up on the salmon ladder, then culdnt people (if tall enough) move it up a rung before getting their knees off the pads? Like with Nakata i can see because he didnt even get the bar to a different rung but levi did. Just a thought. Also M9 has a history of letting people continue if they roke the rules to see of they'd fail anywhere.

Well he wasn't disqualified since he was on the course the whole time... Also by your logic even if he was it's a non issue because he still failed the salmon ladder...

Haha, being the shortcut obsessed person I am, I always wondered if you could start the Salmon ladder one rung up. If I wasn't certain, I wouldn't try it. We don't want another "Bamboo Derby" incident.

We don't want another "Bamboo Derby" incident. I always wondered about that considering that if I were doing it I could probably put the bar on the third rung easily.

I remeber this fall. Part of the bar was on the 7th rung and part of it was on the 6th rung. Then he fell. I don't know if he did on purpose because he thought he was going to fall or if he just lost his grip on the bar.
