Lol, indeed. I should have paid better attention to how you handled that jump up to the salmon ladder :/. You went before me though. ....or were you talking about Brian?

I don't believe it was ever an inconvenience to g4 to have Aaron there, it was just some board members that got a little pissed. Lol, I think it was just one member....let's not go there. Everyone was totally cool with him being there, they even interviewed him and showed it on tv.

I don't believe it was ever an inconvenience to g4 to have Aaron there, it was just some board members that got a little pissed. No but the repercussions were enormous. G4 no longer can take guests outside of the competitors (not even their own families as they used to before) and they changed the entire security protocol in Sasuke once M9/TBS found out. You're assuming a lot here. The no guests was just for ANW1 because there were so many people and didn't even seem to be an issue in ANW2. Security has only gotten more lax since 22 ...by either my own accounts or from what I've heard from others or both. *end disclaimer* Can we all never talk about this again, it's silly.

Yeah, lets NOT get back into this conversation again. Only 3 more people will be eliminated. Looks like we'll get at least SOME of our favorites there. Out of the "new people" that I havn't really seen before... this Brent guy has probably the most potential. Thomas Hall really needs to go... I hope he's not in the top 10, but the only way to eliminate him is for David's team to fail, which I don't want. Man I am so torn when cheering for these guys. Brent was the biggest surprise! I didn't expect all that much after his performance in the venice beach stuff, but he was a different person when he got to finals. Of course it didn't hurt that the red team had me as a coach.

Well that's the problem I have with this show.. if they did the course and the slowest, weakest, etc. were eliminated without the Survivor drama it wouldn't be an issue.. but that element is really effing up the show. I agree it's hard to cheer for them simply because they have to make the decisions as well.. that's.. just not Sasuke. Yeah I felt the exact same way....but everyone was pretty cool for the most part about admitting when they deserved to be eliminated, and the format actually worked out well. For example when a team loses their weakest member they then are able to send their strongest member first and last and basically become a stronger team from it and cause another team to lose it's weakest member in theory leaving the strongest 10 in the end. Kinda like what happened with the White Tigers. After they lost a member, they did much better the next day. It's not perfect, but it's soooooooo much better than that retarded beach s***.

Still reading the reviews on twitter, FB and G4.. they are going to have their hands full.. a lot of people turned off the show when boot camp came up.. There is still 3 more hours to show of boot camp.. I'm speaking as a DirecTV user so.... Was it really that bad?... Well I hate reality shows, but I liked watching it a lot. Actually being there was horrible though, hot as f*** eating crappy food and being rudely bossed around all day, just for starters. It's funny, most shows go our of their way to create and emphasize drama where there is none. This show actually downplays the intense emotion that was going on. We were PISSED when the Blue Monkeys made us pick, and we had to deliberate and argue for several minutes before we finally agreed. ....Actually we voted. It was tough.

Glad you guys made the right decision in sending the weaker one home. I figured you and Travis would do that, but I wasn't so sure about your teammates.

Sorry to ask but who is Aaron? I think I missed that one. Technically he wasn't supposed to be there... Sorry I keep reading more posts that I need to reply to as I scroll through. Anyway, who says he "wasn't supposed to be there?" If they let him in, that means he's supposed to be there. He contacted me beforehand and asked if I could help him out, I forwarded the request to G4 who forwarded it to M9 along with my requests for my Sister and her family. I saw him when I got there standing outside the restricted area and pointed him out to the M9 people and said he was a friend of mine and they let him in. It's really nobody's business but ours. Sure he mentioned at one point if they wouldn't let him in he would try to find a place where he could stand or climb a tree a legally without trespassing catch some of the show, but so what? He didn't do that, it wouldn't have been illegal, and if they actually asked him to leave I'm sure he would have.

I'm not watching this 'program' but do 2 of these teams go to Japan and one is out? ANd if so, isn't this just another cluster **** from G4?

Ah... Then I'm guessing I'm going to have to call Hatsune Miku over and work on an mp3 or two ain't I? (And if ANYONE context breaks that I'm going to kill whoever said it ) And I was hearing it was 3 teams.. I don't understand the point of teams in this like.... at all..... Couldn't they just have everyone go do everything with no teams and no penalties or anything and just drop the bottom 5 people from the 15? Although admittedly this does sound better than ANW1's finals considering the fact it's at least Sasuke related..... They're just trying to make drama....and it actually worked sorta. Teams aren't the best way to find the top 10, but it was kinda fun and bonding being in teams and I think it does add something to the show for the average viewer. So I kinda have mixed feelings about it. I'm really glad it mostly people nominating themselves rather than getting voted off. I was REALLY terrified I'd get voted off the first day if it was Survivor style because other people would want to eliminate the competition, and it would have been me Levi and Brian getting voted off right off the bat! Thankfully they didn't do that! I'm also really glad when you did get up for elimination it was still a physical competition to see who would actually go home and if you deserved to be there you can kick the other guys a** on the rope and prove you deserve another chance!

I was really calling BS on the whole thing at the beginning, but the rules and structure they setup were fairly logical and fair.

@ David - Yea I was talking about Brian doing the jump to the Salmon Ladder. But I should have tested it like you! Going that early had me too worked up since I didn't have much to go off of. Ah well, gotta learn to relax more at the next one!
As for all the boot camp stuff, I haven't watched it yet but still sounds like it would be fun to watch. I know if I was there I would have been stressing the whole time with the team format lol. Next year I hope they just set up 4 stages and whittle people down that way. Take the ten that make it the farthest through the course and the fastest since time is always a deciding factor. I hate all the people on the facebook page, I give up trying to explain things to ignorant people.

David, you're so diplomatic! LOL And I agree with pretty much everything you say (although I obviously wasn't there to experience anything first-hand, just the conclusions I came to while watching)
I was actually pleasantly surprised by the boot camp when I watched it. It wasn't ideal in my opinion (survivor, teams...), but it seemed to work out far better than I imagined.

Hey Strat I'm actually GLAD the NW FB is going insane with bad reviews. G4 did awesome on Prelims and despite the wtf rules to the Semis.. that too. I just agree with those who believe there was no reason to do Survivor for Sasuke.. especially since Sasuke is the antithesis to Survivor in every single way. I hope G4 goes back to the drawing board and fixes the final.. because really.. that's the only thing they effed up.. Give ANW a final worthy of the first 2 stages and people will be much happier.. including me! I was happy to see the GOOD changes from ANW1 to ANW2. They put it in front of a real audience and had better obstacles (obvious problems there but even Sasuke has those). It's the final that everyone lost their lunch on. And to be clear.. it's not the competitor's fault.. they are stuck with it too and they did the most of it. It's calling G4 on the carpet for ruining an otherwise good show. P.S. David.. Hearing it from the beginning well before you were selected and more importantly from the M9 point of view skews perception on the whole thing They .. were.. pissed..

Ok so I was glad with the boot camp with the obstcales. But really, surviver style? Me and my mom were like WTF. G4 keeps screwing it up on the final. I mean I bet the boot camp wore out everyone. It might have even injured some of the peps there. I'm also kind of mad that they didn't even show the three guests runs on the show. It would have been fun to see them run instead of watching it on Youtube. I didn't get to finish watching the show(went to bed, thought I would have school but today it was a snow/ice day) but am watching the re-run right now. David you think the boot camp wore about everyone before they even got to Japan?

Btw should this thread be kept for the rest of the finals on Wednesday? That way I can change the title to include that. Didn't realize that the finals were more than 2 episodes... The Sasuke ones will be in their own thread since a lot plan to skip those episodes entirely.

Arsenette, I know you have sort of "secret insider information" but you're not M9 nor were you there, so you probably shouldn't talk like you know more than someone who was a part of the whole ordeal, just sayin'.
And the FB hardly reflects the majority of viewership. The only people who are pissed are the die hard ninja warrior fans obviously. The only people on the FB are probably the die hard fans anyway.
And a lot of the people on FB are misinformed. There are tons of people that don't even realize this is a qualifer to get onto Sasuke... so I would hardly even call their opinions valid.
