Hurray! SASUKE 26 is happening! But how do you watch it? Do you fly over to Japan? Do you hack satellite cable to find TBS on your channel listing? There are few options. We found a perfect option. However, I will list both options for you right now. First, you can buy a stream to view Japanese television. Most popular service that I know of is WIST. The stream quality is quite nice. If you don't have the money or not willing to pay, there is an alternative option. It's free, but the stream quality is lower. On the day of SASUKE (or any special broadcasting), join the sasukemaniac chat. Why? Because ustream channel will be integrated right next to the chat! Thank you jams for this amazing idea! If you want to try to access this page now, you can (pm me). However, since I copied the whole html code, there will be weird stuff on there (such as: your ID is now supernovamaniac with 24 messages!). I will post more informations in the future as SASUKE nears, but I won't frequent here as much compared to last time (college applications). Till then, if you have questions, post them here (urgent ones should be sent to supernovamaniac@gmail.com) and I (and probably supersheep) shall answer.

Hopefully we'll have more options coming up since some people have issues with the streamed stuff if their computer can't handle it.

Why don't you and sheep find a new streaming site that's not as ad filled as livestream? Why don't you use ustream or whatever, I think that also eliminates that 50 people limit livestream has...

Your logic is flawed Last time I checked, we were talking about my situation with my testing, not sheep's. I don't know what the hell you were thinking about, but don't derail. Also, if you're going to complain about the streams, then I can't do anything. You don't like it, then don't watch. Simple.

I have a question since I'm yet to watch a Sasuke tournament live: when do we sign up for a spot on a channel for the broadcast? Or is it more of a "first come, first serve" thing?
Also, do we just have to be on the channel at the time or are there additional things that have to be done to see the live broadcast?

No additional installations (except for the ones that I've already mentioned)

Streamers have the videofeed and share what they have live. So it's not like a tape delay thing.. you must be up at that time to see the video streaming in real time. As for spaces.. that will be determined later. Some streams have limits as to how many can watch but usually we put the list of possible people and if one is full just go to the next one down the list. All in all once we finally got it down no one missed it that tried to log on.. barring computer problems. Just a reminder for the new folks who've never seen this. Get there early and be patient. This stuff sometimes can be a pain and sometimes glitch.. so the utmost patience is required.. otherwise.. if you pay for your own service then you can adjust it yourself.. for those who aren't paying for it.. please be kind with those doing you a favor

User jams has had some good ideas, and we're looking in places that don't have user limits.
