Just a little info on a new obstacle course show that's coming soon called Splatalot. Basically wipeout for kids, but in a castle and with a bunch of annoying guards: distribution360.com/splatalot/splatalotAnd I know about this because I was a contestant and made it to the final but then lost because it was slightly luck based and unfair (and Im not in the trailer). Feel free to ask questions, but I probably won't be able to answerer many because of the confidentiality agreement.

Canada, surprisingly enough.
Mind you, the clips in the trailer are all from the 1st round, and the other rounds are not nearly as good as good as this, plus it doesnt seem the obstacles vary that much.
But still for a country where most the funding for television is through the government, its very impressive!

Woah dude! I gotta watch this. I like "Themed" obstacle courses, so this looks pretty neat.

When do plan to air this? I ask because usually for stuff like this they wait like a year after they film it to air it.

Well, the websites up now: splatalot.ytv.com/ Theres no videos (well it says there is one, but I can't get it to work for the life of me) but there's some good pictures in the "Castle" section. None are of me however, so I'm downgrading good to average .

I just let it load, clicked the first video and it played for me. I do rather hate flash-based sites like that, though. :/
I like it. It's like Wipeout, MXC and American Gladiators combined. I don't like, however, the dramatic voice over that just comes off as silly. Maybe they should lighten the mood a bit, like Double Dare?

Off topic, I thought "Danone" was only a European spelling. I guess "Dannon" is only used in America.
I think the voice is meant to silly and overly dramatic.

I think you're right. It just doesn't do anything for me personally.

Especially that spiky rolling pin Although I know what you mean, (And I could be mistaken) but I think DOORS had an obstacle similar to that one, but whatever. I like the floating barrels. It's an interesting way to do an obstacle.
