Great expectations.
Who is giving you the chills at the thought of them failing the first stage? Who do you want to advance beyond stage 1 the most? This actually is not dissimilar to the third stage poll I made previously.
I'll tell you what, what caused me to make this thread is how badly I want to see David Campbell beat stage 1, he so deserves that! That is, if David gets to go to Sasuke.
This new stage one I'm hoping isn't a significant challenge compared to Sasuke 23, the previous course that ANW winners ran. I'm also hoping it's not a lot harder than Sasuke 25. David has impressed me so much from all his work that I know he would "Takahashi" the course if he gets stage 1 out of the way (Takahashi never fails stage 2.)
So there's one person I'm going to be most nervous watching, that's what I'm wondering about the folks here.

I'm thinking the same as you. He got the 6th farthest in 22, going farther than all the All Stars, Levi, etc. I'm also hoping that Hashimoto goes far again. He has shown huge improvement since Sasuke 23 and well, I'm his number one fan

lol Well just don't stand next to him when someone does really well on the course, he celebrates by doing that fist pump right into the air and almost nailed Lee in #24 David on the other hand, was definitely deserving in #22 when he came that close after not getting to practice on a trampoline (They had one out in the parking lot! That makes me so mad!) and a severely fierce new Slider Jump.

Who is giving you the chills at the thought of them failing the first stage? Nagano
Definitely going to be nervous when Nagano is up. I really hope it wont be 3 first stage fails in a row but the "new" first stage gets me worried that he might fail it.
Who do you want to advance beyond stage 1 the most? Shiratori, Kanno, Yamamoto, Nagano, Sato Hiromichi, Katsumi Yamada.
Would be great if they all could make it but i want these guys to make it past stage 1 the most.

I'm worried about Yuuji for some reason. The current champion always goes through interesting fails when they become champion, not to mention at one point they were had some of the worse results in a stage (Akiyama failed the very first obstacle in 9, Nagano fails the Downhill Jump in 20 and Yuuji fails physics in 25). He still has something to prove.

Ahhhhg, I hate NDA's! Thanks a lot Venus, I always try my best! One thing I can say without giving anthing away was That I got nervous in the open tryouts at ANW2 because it had been so long since I competed and I worked so hard to get there, and there was that new paddle bridge obstacle, but after I cleared open tryouts I felt so much less nervous in the semi-finals, and the further I got in the competition after that (not saying how far that was) the more focused I felt(with a couple exceptions).

Well.. We know you qualified, We saw that pic of you in Japan (Granted the person was taking a pic of Levi but still). Although what you're saying makes me think you managed to clear considering what you said about nervous your first run at ANW2 yet in the Semi's you were fine. Considering how nervous you seemed in 22 and how you seemed very cautious not knowing what to expect (Might have been a good plan considering you stayed dry). You had to have passed this time I'm hoping. BTW, I'm hoping you ran on those paths this time, Not just would that have saved you, That's Levi's speed trick

heh heh I know what relieves your stress, David I remember that boost of confidence you got in #22 when you didn't stumble after clearing the steps and I did not say that I knew if you made it this year.

You were shaky in the first ANW, but now your in Japan. Let's hope you get your revenge on the Rope Ladder that killed ya in 22 (if it's even there)

I was 2nd and 3rd fastest on the obstacle courses at ANW1, and I would have made it through finals if the refs knew their own rules. Ahg! I so would have completed the 4th stage if I had gone to Sasuke 23, I totally owned the sasuke 22 final stage we built on my first run after we got it all set up right! But anyway yeah, I don't know what you mean about being shaky at the first ANW. Sasuke 22 I was kinda shaky, just too careful for my own good. Is that what you meant? Oh and to answer everyone's question ahead of time, yes I did it on purpose. I'm good at bat hangs and catching things with my toes (as you can see in my ANC4 video) so it just seemed like the most natural and safe way to do it. (and no I'm not talking about the slider jump in Sasuke22, I'm talking about something else.) Also keep in mind I have a dislocated shoulder, that I dislocated on my own Slider Jump when I caught the net with one hand.

As long as Nagano pases stage 1 its all i care about he IS SASUKE! and my Hero.
I admit i'll be nervous for him though and my other boys Yuuji and Hashimoto!
As I've said before I want Nagano to get to stage 3 he has the most chance of cracking it!

Who is giving you the chills at the thought of them failing the first stage? Who do you want to advance beyond stage 1 the most? Nagano. I'm pretty frickin nervous about his run. As I've said before, I'm not worried about the physical issues he might have because of his age - once again, Sasuke 23 was not that far from 24 and 25...and we know where he almost ended up in 23; what I'm really worried about is the huge pressure building on him. Who do you want to advance beyond stage 1 the most? All-Stars, Lee, David, Kongu. P.S. Yes, David, you are a jerk

You should have tried to argue them on it real quick, I mean they made you restart when you did follow the rules, Technically Travis broke the rules and there he was at 23 Oh and to answer everyone's question ahead of time, yes I did it on purpose. I'm good at bat hangs and catching things with my toes (as you can see in my ANC4 video) so it just seemed like the most natural and safe way to do it. (and no I'm not talking about the slider jump in Sasuke22, I'm talking about something else.) Why must you taunt us like that.. XD Some kind of new obstacle? Was it Stage 3? Also keep in mind I have a dislocated shoulder, that I dislocated on my own Slider Jump when I caught the net with one hand. At least you didn't f**k it up by doing something stupid like having too close of a grip hanging upside down on a cliffhanger then knock your hands off when trying to put your legs through... Although really? You hurt yourself on your own Slider Jump yet were completely fine after that whole 22 incident? Then again.. I shouldn't be talking with all the death traps I train with and then my cliffhanger (Or more rather the floor under it...) hurting me
