My opinion has completely changed of him, even with the whole Yuuji thing. He's awesome now.

That stinks that he is coming back now that they changed the first stage from obstacles he had experience with. I think he coulda done well in 25 cause of the older obstacles. Now he is back and has to deal with the shin-sasuke- esque first stage again.

YESSSS! I'm glad to know that Yamada competed! I doubted he would really "retire." He loves competing on Sasuke too much. I just hope that this time he was able to just relax and have fun, no matter how he did. And, Cole, the main obstacle Yamada had problems with was the Soriatsu Kabe, and we haven't seen that in any of the pictures. Now, that doesn't guarantee that it isn't there, since we don't have a very clear shot of the first stage, but if it's gone, then Yamada probably did much better, maybe even clearing the first stage. That's what I'm hoping for.

Tiger yeah I know that the s kabe was his main issue but he had problems with the jumping spider in particular. I feel like the kabe is in there somewhere and I don't think it's going to be taken out anytime soon, so if it were down to the resot of the obstacles, I think Yamada would do better on the 25 course rather than this one.

...wow. I share the concerns about the new-old course. He had more chances in 25 IMO. We'll see... I hope he manages to avoid drama of any kind.

25 would have been his place to shine. Besides the Warped Wall, he would have no trouble. Did he ever even fail any of 25's first stage obstacles (besides the famous Rolling Log derailment)?

Well his usual dantobi technique would have screwed him on the Dome Steps, And the Circle Slider was closer when he beat it before. Also technically he didn't even fail on that rolling maruta derailment he had

I'm sure once he saw the course in 25, he had the same reaction like "I could do that" as he did with 13. It will be great to watch him compete again. Hopefully, the tournament hiatus gave him some time to clear his head a little.

I'm glad to see Yamada continuing to compete. If someone has an opportunity to compete and take it seriously, they should show up every time they're invited.
I just wonder what our opinion of Yamada would be if he never tried to retire but continued his Stage 1 failures? He's claimed retirement twice since the last time he's completed Stage 1. Would we be telling him to retire rather than welcome him back?

Lee added 4 more pictures (including his front page now) And his fanpage added this: For those who remember .. this was a gift that was made by a Taiwanese artist last year. I'm not sure if he got the little action figure he made of him but this is the little bust in his likeness. Gah.. wish I knew Japanese to know wtf he said.

Anyone else notice the "SASUKE 2010秋"? I think that was at 23 and not 26

Yay I didn't epic fail It was Sasuke 26 (Sheep noticed Lee's security badge and it does say 2011 on it). Btw the first part of the video was Nagano saying to Lee thanks and he wishes to go to Taiwan if he gets the chance to he can go see him (meaning Lee). Apparently though Nagano when he saw the box was saying "oh.. I know what this is.. I asked for it" so it seems he figured it was the action figure! Then he saw how small the box was and he said "oh no it's something else". I sent him the link to all the photos to the action figure so I guess he messaged Lee to ask him for the action figure when it the artist created it last year. So it seems he didn't know about the bust (which was a separate post in the same website). So when he opened the box he was genuinely surprised since he didn't know that was even made. So that also means that the poor guy still doesn't have his action figure! LOL Btw.. this is the action figure he thought he was getting: tw.myblog.yahoo.com/vivaviva-vivaviva/article?mid=2441&prev=2449&next=2428&l=a&fid=10
