Highly unlikely that we have a log obstacle, unless you call the pendulum one the 'log' obstacle.
Log grip is HIGHLY unlikely due to missing structures. However, if it is there, it should be placed at the back.
But let's say that there's an obstacle. If there is, why is the landing area so LARGE?

Ah, you were right... I think the JS IS before the HPA. If you zoom in even closer from this screen you can see. Its pretty blurry but you can see that the JS is closer. Im curious about the second stage. It looks different from from the full size of this pic. It also looked kind of fishy in the other pic arsenette put up with the tester that looked like Akiyama. Im predicting they made some modifications to the second stage. Wow, now it looks as if Sasuke 25 didnt even exist! All different! I think it's safe to say at least the first three obstacles of the Second Stage haven't changed. I think the lighting is making it feel different. About the first stage, the only way I can wrap my head around this massive change is that 25 was meant to be a special "through the ages" Sasuke. So basically they wanted the first stage to be nostalgic, fun, and easy, the second stage to resemble Shin-Sasuke, and the third stage to resemble the future. Maybe Sasuke 25 was meant to be a fun break from the continuation/next level of Shin-Sasuke. Perhaps in a sense the real Sasuke 25 hasn't really happened. Who knows

To me this is what the course looks like: 1. Rokudantobi (less steep) +some sort of swing/curtain/who knows that takes you from the end of the steps to the last platform 2. Pendulum Swing to the higher platform 3. Unknown, from that grainy pic it looks like a Balance Tank on the ground. 4. Jumping Spider 5. Half-Pipe Attack 6. Unknown 7. Unknown 8/9. Tarzan Rope/Rope Ladder (structure in back) Second Stage: 1. Slider Drop 2. Double Salmon Ladder 3. Unstable Bridge (unconfirmed) 4. Unknown 5. Unknown 6. Wall Lift (structure) Third Stage: 4. UCH (unconfirmed, but cmon, giant structure is possible to be made out) 5. Jumping Rings Final Stage: It exists

But I do want to point out few things in the picture. Right red circle implies large landing area unless the course takes a turn to the left. The LEFT red circle shows some board-like things sticking out. Part of obstacle or not?

Also is it just me or do I not see a UCH?!?!? That's the camera angle.. The high platform for obstacle 2 (3? I don't know what they're classifying the first thing as) is blocking it's view

*FACEPALM*
Is it just me, or do I see a person on the pendulum obstacle?

Ok I labeled some of the stuff I think are obstacles. Heres what I think the first stage obstacles are::: Sextuple Step + rope combo Pendulum Balance Obstacle Jumping Spider HPA SK New hard Obstacle Tarzan Rope Swing.

By pendulum you guys mean this thing right? I don't see how it could be that.. Looks like something they scrapped for safety reasons.. And how would they keep it moving? And what's stopping competitors from stopping it then just walking across?... Now I want to know what the real 2nd (3rd? I don't know if the combo obstacle for the first obstacle counts as 1 or 2) is because it's definitely not the 25 navi thing. And also what could be in that big empty gap with no supports yet it starts higher and goes lower. Could we be seeing the return of the Balance Tank in it's original form? (BTW.. JS is before HPA, Note how the HPA runup is obstructed)

Going back to the old picture: ameblo.jp/pusherhiroaki/image-10681631940-10810360608.htmlDoes anyone see a rope there? Seems like one of the pipes ends before reaching the ground, and after counting up the pipes on the sides (for support), it seems like there's an extra line hanging down from the obstacle.

Now that one it looks kind of like a Bridge Jump rope directly after the dantobi obstacle that's been confirmed

Well, nothing is really confirmed yet, but I jsut don't get why they keep reverting back to old recycled obstacles when I'm sure they can come up with new, and in some cases, better obstacles.

I don't like how they brought back the jumping spider. It's a bit much for the first stage.

I hope they brought back the Jumping Spider... no one really trains for it.. usually the trampoline is so close only a small hop and you are on the wall.. the real one is like an eternity away from you.

I'll say I'm not happy that it's reverting almost back to Shin-Sasuke. I liked the easier stage 1 because it made sense, and I liked the mix of Shin and old Sasuke obstacles.
HPA is one of my favorite obstacles, but a lot of these have been warn out, we've seen them enough. I really don't care for the jumping spider in stage 1 anymore.
I know if it stayed the way it was we'd get a ton of clears, but they could've easily made it a little harder and gotten say... 15 clears. I think that would've been fine especially with the much harder stages 2 and 3.

I honestly believe the reason why we are seeing a lot of older obstacles is because they literally pulled this competition out of their a$$es.. remember.. no one had a fixed date for this at all.. hell.. Channeling Nagano's pessimism about the whole thing.. HE didn't even think it was coming back. So I would think that they went with a competition set up that didn't produce a lot of injuries. They needed to tape this quickly so they went with what "worked".

It seems more like the TRUE 25 to me and tournament 25 was the rushjob bar stage 3.

IF you're going to bring back old obstacles, the only ones I'd like to see are the Body Prop, Pipe Slider (with gap) and Flying Chute.
