You probably outta give up on that design, I've tried similar things in Sim Sasuke, they just dont work.
If you've followed my courses, look at the current final obstacle in stage 3, thats about as close as you're going to get. The only other way to do it would be to use a new ring on every track.

0:54 is the closest you're going to get.

I can't believe nobody thought of this. The rungs are like the Flying Bar rungs, but curved. In spoiler tags because it is a big image.

How would the ring stay on those rungs?

It couldn't -- the moment the ring moves it's falling in the water. That's if you can even balance the ring. Plus, the finish mat is too high to even swing to.

Aside from that, how would anyone fail it? I'd just try to pull it along like Nagano in 21 and just jump over the notches

Seriously, this "obstacle - bar + ring= upgrade" nonsense is getting silly

alright i admit defeat on trying to make a working flying ring so I just made a couple more obstacles i'll post them on later. but for now it's the ring slider (final ring v2) like the final ring there's only 1 track but in the middle it is raised and for the final part of the track is is lowered and unlike the first version it is level to the goal mat so you can swing down like the pipe slider. Edit : Added Shin-Ultimate cliff hanger it's still 6 ledges i just combined part of the cliffhanger 9-17 version, part of the 18-24 version and the ultimate cliffhanger version Edit 2 : another 3rd stage final obstacle that i made, the final bridge. basically the unstable bridge except that it's longer, there is just 1 bridge, and that it is 4 planked. when you reach the end of the bridge you have to jump to the platform instead of touching down. Edit 3: i made another 3rd stage obstacle...i called it the poleknob hang. it consits of 5 poles and 5 doorknobs that the competitor must hang on to while grabbing each one... yes it looks weird.

Since talking about obstacles from Sasuke 27 doesn't count as spoilers, here's what I call the Spin Bridge Jump. It's basically just a combination of the Spin Bridge/Cannonball Run and Sasuke 25's Bridge Jump. ;D (NOTE: Only in spoiler tags because of size.) BTW, I have all of my other obstacle ideas on my majhost page IN THE SPECIFIED FOLDERS (i.e. if you haven't seen Sasuke 27 and go into 1 or 2 of the non-obstacle folders, don't blame me for not warning you ).

The Ball Swing
You Jump onto a hydraulic ball from K7 then grab the rope and swing onto the slope

I still have no idea what you're talking about.
EDIT: Are you referring to the pegs on Domino Hill?

I have an idea. It's a reverse jumping bar. You have to climb up instead of jumping down. So competitors will need to swing their body, and grab onto the next bar with their feet, then repeat. The angle would have to be steeper so they can't just jump with their hands like usual. It would be like the transition from climbing bars to the rest area, but a bit farther.

Glad to find that a thread for this exists =] From Australia so the only thing I can do Sasuke-related is dream about it. In the process of dreaming I come up with a few obstacles. Something Sasuke has done is introduce variations of the Cliffhanger throughout the years in order to increase it's difficulty, I think the same should be done for a lot of obstacles so some of my designs are updates for old obstacles that I miss and would like to see made harder in order to be re-introduced in to the competition. Sorry that the drawings arn't the best, I only use paint and I will Edit to post more in the future. Hope you enjoy and discuss if you do.
Stage 2 Obstacles -
Leaping Spider - Someone has already posted an obstacle like this but it's a really cool idea so I'd love to see it one day. My walls are all stationary.
Rope Bridge - Since it uses the full body, this could replace Backstream
Stage 3 Obstacles -
Curtain Climber - An update for the Curtain Clinger. Designed to test Curtain transitions in all possible ways.
Mega Body Prop - An update for the Body Prop involving moving downward.
Gliding Rings - A Combination of the Gliding Rings and Arm Rings.
Jumping Rings - How I would attempt the obstacle.
Swinging Rings - An Update for Cycle Road. Involves free swinging rings instead and jump transitions.
Vicious Steps - Steps that even the Devil can't use casually.
