I think he took a break cause of all the would be pricks making fun of him for the 11 straight 1st stage fails... I don't think he is all that bad... I can't imagine what he was thinking after sasuke 25 only to find out that the course was changed back to shin sasuke... he was prolly thinking "aw man I can't believe I missed this one..."

I think he's done. He might stop by and support the rest of the All-Stars like Bunpei does sometimes, but I don't think he's going to run it again. Well, looks like I was wrong on that one.....

Yamada probably AGAIN couldn't resist showing up and making a comeback. Cause he did in 14 and he's threatened to quit in other tournaments. Like 8, 10, and 17.

Didn't we already establish that he came back? Maybe someone should close the poll?

So is everyone. What's your point? Do we have any idea if Yamada actually ran this time?

I really want Yamada to succeed. But to be honest, I think his defeats, especially the pipe slider landing, glove disqualification and cross bridge out have worn on him. It's really tough to keep going after stuff like that has happened. I mean, sure, he still probably has his hope... But how longer can he keep going to Sasuke, when his defeat is pretty much expected, especially in the first stage.

I think he has okay chances still, he's not done yet.

^If Yamada can beat the Warped Wall on his first or second try, I think he can clear the first stage. I really don't think he would have much trouble in the second stage, so if he can clear the Wall, I think he can go all the way to the third stage.

I can see him passing a Sasuke 25 first stage but I don't know about the one for 26. Seems it's harder in some way. If he made it to the 2nd I'm not confident he'd make it simply because he over-thinks things and would slow down. I just don't think he has the speed to finish on time.

I agree with arsenette. Yamada's issues with the kabe are due to stamina. The have been videos of him used by m9 showing him clearing his home made version with no problem. If it was at the beginning of the stage, he would pass it but because of the obstacles before it wearing him out, he runs outta gas when he gets there sometimes. Other evidence is when he made several attempts at the wall one time and then rested for about 10 seconds then tried clearing after the time was up. He made it easily after he rested. Because of his stamina, I am not sure that Yamada will be able to deal with the time constraints on stage 2.
