Age doesn't affect your performance. 1. Octupus always get further then Aoki 2. Okuyama is still good and So does Nagano.

Guys... Nagano is getting old. (Yes I realize, not THAT old...) His prime is past him, his era is over. I hate to admit that but it is true. I think he can still get 1 or 2 good tournaments but he will never be like he used to. Its not for everyone though. Its different in people. Like, for Takeda, I see the end of his Sasuke career stronger than his beginning. He now consistently gets far in the 3d stage and will probably continue doing so. I can still see Takeda getting to the 3d stage and performing good as a 38 year old. I just dont have the same feeling for Nagano. Well, who knows? Anything could happen. Nagano is still the top competitor by far of all Sasuke time but atm, I dont see him getting further than Yuuji.

I thought about Nagano getting old too, but that arguement is totally invalid..look at Sasuke 23..it wasnt that long ago. He almost won. Just because he had some minor slip ups since doesnt mean that hes done. Were completely forgetting about him just because someone younger did better than him in two tournaments..he hasnt crippled since Sasuke 23

Were completely forgetting about him just because someone younger did better than him in two tournaments..he hasnt crippled since Sasuke 23 Exactly. What has really changed since his early years is only his level of motivation, mixed with some really bad luck. I mean, just LOOK at 24. He was careless, yes, but he could have saved it if only he slipped, like, ten centimeters further. As for 25, IMO he needs springboard training, that's all. He simply doesn't know how to properly use one. Look at Sportsman No.1, heck. Oh and talking again about 24, failing an obstacle that has never given him problems before, because of rushing therefore paying less attention to what he was doing...Sasuke 10 anyone? Jump Hang? Yes he has aged. Yes he needs to pay more attention. Yes his motivation level has changed.Yes there are younger competitors out there who have been doing better. No he isn't old. Yes he still has the potential to be the last man standing for a while. I'm defending my opinion here, but feel free to disagree, heh.
