Made a poll like this last time, Ill do it again. Which champion will get the furthest? I said Yuuji. I have a feeling that nagano will fail stage 1 again. Just think he might screw up somewhere. Not that I want him to, just this feeling As for Akiyama. Hes a wild card. But like Gamble said, I think he will make some crazy comeback soon and get all the way to end of stage 3. But in 26 I think he will get over the wall in 1 try and "Nagano" the circle slider. So I said Yuuji. I see him getting at least to the UCH.

Akiyama will fail in stage one. Nagano will fail stage two And Urushihara will fail stage 3 maybe the last obstacle

I have a funny feeling that Akiyamas gonna make some kind of a comeback, even if that means he loses on the slider drop..Akiyamas not bad, he just hits......walls...Naganos not gonna make a stupid mistake, but hes not getting past the UCH, whereas Yuuji probably will get past it.

All 3 have a pretty good chance, especially Nagano and Yuuji.

While I would like to see Akiyama own everybody (which I haven't given up hope for!), I think that Yuuji has the best chance, considering he hasen't failed the first stage since Sasuke 21 (his first attempt), and he has also never failed the third stage (he beat the shin-cliff on his first try) and he is an Unlimited Cliffer. As for Nagano, he could to very well or very bad. He made it to the final stage in Sasuke 23 and then failed the first stage in Sasuke 24.
So here are my predictions. Akiyama: Time out on final first stage obstacle. Urushihara: Fail drop to small ledge on the Ultimate Cliffhanger Nagano: Fail Slider Drop

Akiyama - warped wall again
Nagano - end of stage 3 ie jumping rings or jumping pipe
Yuuji - the jump on the UCH to the tiny ledge.

I voted Yuuji as well. Here's my predictions (considering that everything's the same as 26): Akiyama: Warped Wall or Circle Slider (he almost always fails the WW or a jumping obstacle, and it seemed that he got closer to clearing the WW in 25 than in 24 so I think he's got a 50/50 shot of clearing it but after he failed the CS in 17 and this version is even tougher, I can't see it happening... ) Nagano: Circle Slider is my best guess unfortunately ; if he does pass this though, I can't see him getting past Stage 2 because of either the Slider Drop or the Metal Spin (boy do I hope I'm wrong because I want to see him back in Stage 3) Urushihara: After his failures in 23 and 25, he's probably been focusing a lot on the Double Salmon Ladder + Unstable Bridge combo so I'll think he'll clear Stage 2 and probably get to the UCH or last Stage 3 obstacle before failing (IMO he'll be the last man standing in 26).

How dare you proclaim Yuuji to be better than Nagano - that makes me angry lol

Nagano IMO. If he can get past Stage 1 and the Slider Drop, he shouldn't have problems going far. I have the feeling both him and Yuuji will get past the UCH, Yuuji makes a fairly stupid mistakes and Nagano gets to the final obstacle. At least. As for Akiyama, his tournaments end A- on the Circle Slider, B-on the Metal Spin, or C- on the Jumping Pipes. I have the feeling he'll do great, like many of you. Feel free to disagree since my predictions are part thought part guts.

I honestly don't know, I can see him Levi'ing it if he doesn't pay attention, but it's a very vague mental picture. Though after seeing Levi everybody might be more aware of the danger of failing it that way, and paying more attention.

The only thing in ST2 with Nagano thats ever concerned me is the Metal spin and that was over 11 tournaments ago now.
So to me its - beats CS then he goes to ST3.

I never detect overconfidence from him at all to be honest.
I just think overall his motivation has changed hes won now so hes not that bothered - he has nothing to prove to anyone - I wanted him to win in 23 and i thought the near miss like that would fire his hunger for kanzenseiha again but again he doesn't seem that bothered.
Probably Having a family now as well is part of the reason why.

I agree totally and i think your right, but his Jumping Spider fail in 24 couldn't have been credited to anything else..he looked really bummed when he lost in 25..but i think if Nagano can keep a level head here on out than hell be going neck and neck with Yuuji for a few more years to come

Guys...
Nagano is getting old. (Yes I realize, not THAT old...) His prime is past him, his era is over.
