Is this Brian K's prelims run? The guy posting these has a bunch of them unmarked. He's a spectator who probably didn't know who these people were beforehand but shared his videos for other to identify?
Can anyone identify the other guys on the videos he posted?

Thanks for the update Levi. Although I still say it's a G4 fail for making You and Brian go through ANW again despite the fact you both should be auto invited considering TBS invites people back when they pass Stage 1..
BTW RC.. I don't think there is an NDA for the Qualifier and the Semi-Finals considering it's a big open course in the middle of Venice Beach and they wanted 100,000 people there.. I'm sure Levi can't say results from the Finals (But we'll find out anyways when TBS shows 26) but the Venice Beach course they're probably like "Theres no way we can keep everyone shut up.. Let's not even bother keeping this secret"... Hell.. Didn't G4 even post their own pics of ANW2 already? Or am I confusing pics from someone to G4's pics

Thanks for the corrections man. I'll update my previous post. Good luck this year. I was in line about 10 spots after your prelim run this year and I think I said something like "Oh great, I'm going to have follow Levi... Awesome"
And yes I definitely noticed the amount of freerunners who had success out there. As much as I've resisted, I'm think I'm going to finally start dabbling in the freerunning/parkour phenomenon to better prepare myself for next year.

Hopefully these are Freerunners who actually like the show (even if it's just NW.. As long as they're up to date on it and know what to expect) and not just people who see Trip to Japan and thinking they'll get $250,000... And yes I definitely noticed the amount of freerunners who had success out there. As much as I've resisted, I'm think I'm going to finally start dabbling in the freerunning/parkour phenomenon to better prepare myself for next year. I don't think that training in Parkour automatically means you're going to do good at this.. Take ANW1 for example.. Sure in Sasuke 23 we had 3 clears from the Americans all from Freerunners.. But 2 had experience and 1 didn't do so good his next time on Sasuke (But in Rich's defense failing the Log Grip in 25 isn't as bad as if you failed it in Shin Sasuke) but you got to consider while they did for the most part do good on the course we had had 3/4 (I forget if Joop freeruns or not) other freerunners there and they all failed stage 1 (Granted it was all Time-Outs with the exception of Paul). So despite the success of Levi and Brian that doesn't mean Free-Running doesn't automatically mean Sasuke success.. Hell.. I'm not 100% sure on Brian but I know for a fact Levi does some training specifically to Sasuke, I've seen vids of him training with David (Particually for the Shin Cliffhanger (BTW Levi, Are you preparing for the Ultimate Cliffhanger?)) I'm not out to bash Parkour/Freerunning, Hell, it's fun alot of times, But I'm just saying don't think doing it means you're going to ace Sasuke

Eh.. the ANW course has always been a Freerunners paradise especially since they take fastest I didn't expect a surprise so I wasn't all that concerned. I have enough problems with G4 as it is I'm not going to b**** about who's going this time Yeah about the NDA's the final is out away from everyone so I expect that's going to be tight lipped.. at least until September when we know wtf went anyway Delaying the results for 4 months is ridiculous but whatever That's how G4 does things so I'm not going to complain. That's beating a dead horse So anyone make out the exact full list of 15? brain is all discombobulated.

I think being a freerunner/traceur doesn't necessarily mean you'll destroy Sasuke, but it certainly helps out. That's simply because a freerunner's training is very similar to the "perfect" training for Sasuke. Agility, strength, endurance, ability to adapt to every obstacle you find on your way...that's all IMO Anyway thanks for the corrections Levi

So these 15 go into the final thing which will be whittled down to the ten who got Japan? I apologize for my ignorance, if any, but are we gonna find out who those ten are before sasuke 26? I assume anw2 won't be shown on g4 till after sasuke 26 airs in Japan. If anyone could clear this up for me i'd appreciate it.

I don't see that happening.. We'll find out anyways when 26 comes around though.
Also they already confirmed G4 is showing ANW2 in December and that 26 is recording september-ish which means that it will probably air late september/early october

Thanks Levi for the update I'm sure we all appreciate it. As for the selection process, I think the decision of who made the top 15 is flawed. Caine Sinclair may have made it to the salmon ladder slower than Shane Daniels but Caine made it 3 or so rungs up and Shane never even touched the salmon ladder bar. Not to use Shane as a target, I'm sure other guys made it to the top 15 without touching the bar. I just think completing the jump to the salmon ladder is more impressive than getting there faster and that's how it should be. Agree? Disagree?

I didn't see all the runs obviously but given the examples I agree Robby. I was never ever a fan of "fastest to whatever" since in Sasuke it doesn't matter how fast you got there.. it matters if you completed it within the time limit.
As for G4 announcing their final 10 before Sasuke 26? not a chance in hell.. they'd want to suppress all information even after we know wtf happened in Sasuke when 26 airs on TBS..

Agreed.. I think that just shows G4's mindset... It's probably "OK.. We want them to get to Stage 2.. After that who cares, we got our guys in stage 2!"
I mean no offense to Shane but in that example Caine should have made it just for making it to the Salmon Ladder.. I think I should get some help from Hatsune Miku considering G4 only cares about speed it seems..

Rider, just so you know, I said that I planed on "dabbling" in freerunning, and I never meant it as that it means that by doing it means that'll I'll all of a sudden be a badass for the next ANW.
I have full faith in my strength, but considering I failed on the f-bridge because I didn't have the speed or agility to move fast enough to get across it easily, I think that adding a bit of a freerunning to my current workout regimen would only increase my chances at being a more balanced athlete for the next set of trials.
Just wanted to clear that up, I don't want to start a full-fledged debate on the pros and cons of parkour and its application to Sasuke. But considering that the current ANW only has the Salmon Ladder as the only true test of strength, then I would say that freerunners will continue to have the most success until they start adding obstacles like the cliff hanger, unstable bridge, and body prop.

I didn't know the purple-haired guy didn't make it. That totally sucks. He was more impressive than Brian or Levi and he didn't do the tricks ON the course. Salmon Ladder, man. That's how I see it, Arsenette. We didn't sign anything. To hell with it! I have about 85 or so videos on my Flip and a lot more (plus pictures) on my normal camera. I'll upload things when I get home. I know some people who, as far as I know, aren't going into the boot camp: Unclesam, BaronBK, Julie (and several others from David's camp) aren't going, unfortunately. Someone named Travis wiped out, I think. Not sure if it's THE Travis. Shane (AscentPK) and Straticus both blew the jump leading up to the Salmon Ladder, not the ladder itself. Not sure what that means for them. And... yeah. I dunno. It really sucks. There were some totally badass people out there who went out unfairly, almost. Did you get my run, Oti? My summary spanking at the hands of the pseudo-soritatsu kabe???

Thebra's got it completely right. Parkour and free running are helpful when it comes to Sasuke because they build such incredibly coordination, agility and endurance (provided you actually do it, as opposed to all the 8 year olds on Youtube who vault once or twice and call it parkour). The problem is that traceurs/free runners aren't particularly strong unless they purposefully go out of their ways to make strength training a priority. This is fact. It's exactly like swimming; Doing something for so long against a constant resistance (in this case, water) will only improve your strength so much. Once you've adapted, that's it. No more strength. That's just how it works. You need progressive overload to gain strength. If the resistant is constant (i.e., NOT progressive), you don't build strength. Only endurance. Some may argue that repeating moves for so long will help them build strength. Climbing, jumping, pulling oneself up, etc.. This isn't the case. No significant strength gains will come from endlessly repeating movements after you've adapted to them. Traceurs and free runners who DO strength train, though... Ooooh man. Fierce competitors. This is also why I support thebra's idea. He's got some good strength. He whipped my butt in muscle-ups, one-armed chin-ups and rope climbing. He was spent afterward, though. The solution? More endurance training! Mike: Not sure. I haven't gone through the 80-something videos yet.
