Yeah. If TBS is trying a way to make money off a show that in Japan is just not selling.. why not sell it to a network willing to pay a lot for it because it's keeping the entire network from going under? Besides.. quite a few people in the G4 boards would watch a Sasuke-less ANW. I'm sure G4 is banking on that. As far as G4 is concerned they can make a lot of money on ANW with advertising and sponsorship alone. Where do you think they got the $250k for Sasuke 26 prize money? If TBS is done with Sasuke.. this makes financial sense to accept the numbers G4 is giving them. After all... if it's "THAT" popular then it's worth this amount for the license. i hope you are wrong on this.

They're probably talking about ANW since its what next week?
Not to mention the star of the show is going out there, I think they're just sparking some interest for a current event.

Though they would have mentioned Nagano's name in the article since his is bigger than ANW any day of the week. Btw the previous article Ube was showcasing Sasuke 21's broadcast along with NinjaFest in Santa Monica. I still think they should have concentrated on ANW2 possibly attracting 100,000 people rather than supposed ratings. Heck it could be justification for the amount of people going to Sasuke again since the last time very VERY few people liked the idea of G4 monopolizing spots in Sasuke. Though Ube I agree that this is the last anyone will hear of it. Unless they finally announce Sasuke 26 they won't say jack for a while.

It's really tough to say, as much as we may think we know theres way too much we don't know to draw any solid conclusions at this point.

In the end, the short article did the job since the story got picked up by an actual entertainment blog or two and a bunch of spam blogs that copy and paste news stories to generate traffic.

Well I only see a 10, so I'm assuming they're saying 10 representatives are coming from the United States. Big relief that they're not expecting 100,000 people to be there.
EDIT: Ignore the 12252 and 12391, those are just Japanese characters that didn't show up.

The more info we get on ANW2, the more I'm just waiting for someone with G4 to just go like this to us:

Quite honestly that is about normal for a festival (think County fair) since that's the atmosphere they are trying to create. Given the extra stuff on top of the actual ANW course there is a chance that legitimately can happen during those 2 days. I know when we have fireworks, etc. in the city here they get a lot of people in a small amount of space.. so yeah I think it's perfectly reasonable.
