Well for those who missed it www.g4tv.com/ninjawarrior/videos/34856/Kevin_Pereiras_Ninja_Warrior_Run.htmlI'm actually surprised, he wasn't acting like a joke competitor when he actually started the obstacles, I think he might have gotten to the Jumping Spider (not right away but could have) if his foot hadn't hit the water (Providing he got a good runup to get it across the gap).

Yeah, true. I mean, his yelling "Nooooo!" looked a tad dorky, but he looked serious up until the point his foot hit the water on the Log Grip.
....but seriously, G4? Don't ever send your own TV hosts to this show again. Olivia just flat-out, nearly single-handedly made the USA a laughingstock in the eyes of this game show. Leave it to the American Ninja Challengers next time, PLEASE!

Especially in a tournament thats was a world wide competition (Whos the best country sort of thing). And yeah, I thought they were both going to be joke competitors but he started off as a joke but when he got going he looked like he was tyring to be serious.

Have we forgotten about all the Japanese schmucks that shown up only to boost their PR? At least Kevin acted like some of the more sane talento. Not the best way to go out but I'd call it a respectable run, all things considered.
Also, great to hear the announcer pretty much destroy his last name. (Not that I don't blame him)

I loved it when the announcer was like "he has never really done any sports...but he loves video games!"

I loved it when the announcer was like "he has never really done any sports...but he loves video games!" Yeah, that was funny. I don't think it counts unless its Wii or something, and even then..... Have we forgotten about all the Japanese schmucks that shown up only to boost their PR? At least Kevin acted like some of the more sane talento. Not the best way to go out but I'd call it a respectable run, all things considered. Yeah, At least he actually tried (except for that whole start line thing, but there are people who have had worse clothing mishaps, like the bodyguard guy this time and Okitani in 19 XD. And besides that the start line is the one place you ARE supposed to do something like that!). Well any good an actual NW fan would know even a hair in the water and you are disqualified.. ask Akiyama who barely scraped his toe.. and even Shingo a few times .. you dont' ask.. you just KNOW you did it LOL Hell, Shingo even did it this time. Granted that was later in the day so not a good refference but still, point is it happens.

Yeah but Shingo dropped into the water when he felt it.. and didn't ask if he was disqualified.. he KNEW it.. Kevin stood there and waited for him to be officially disqualified and almost ran the rest of the course (if he listened to Olivia..).

Awesome how Kevin did something that I don't think has been done before, hang on to the log and still touch the water?

I don't think Kevin pissed me off that much compared to Olivia. It was just embarassing watching her run! I practically had to close my eyes.

Olivia's was painful, but at least Kevin tried to make a go of it. The suit ripping was kind of ridiculous, but at least he got it off and went. And it is kind of amazing that he technically did do better than Mark (Mark's injury helped that a bit).

I honestly think Kevin should get a second chance, and Olivia should be banned from all Monster9 Events.

If it means they take another spot from someone else that should have gone.. He can just commentate. I don't think he deserves another shot at the course. He got his day in the sun. As annoying as he was.. Zach should be back to commentate if it means that the focus will be on the ANC kids.

Zach officially left G4 though.
