Well whilst we're here, the Rolling Hill was a cool yet pretty uncreative obstacle.

Without a doubt the bungee bridge. I'm pretty sure they ran out of money for the half pipe attack so gathered the materials they could find and just attached loads of bungee cords in a row

Thanks to all these replies, he technically cannot get banned. This is because his post incited new discussion, meaning it wasn't a bump xD

Thanks to all these replies, he technically cannot get banned. This is because his post incited new discussion, meaning it wasn't a bump xD It wasn't on topic discussion, and technically the rule is about bumping without contributing in the original post that revived it From August 30th 2010 to midnight last night/this morning, that's 4 years and 11 months (Total, not the dead month since f*** putting that into the calculator thing), so 59 months, 2 percent per months bumped which is 116% worth of warning, and 100% is autoban. Sooooo bye lol Aaaand even if he reads this post and deletes it to try to pretend like he didn't do it, it's already been reported (I assume I can't be the only one who did), there have been witnesses, and the evidence has been recorded so it'd be futile

Rider the way you take happiness in these people being banned isn't nice. Sure, it's a bad mistake but for some its a humiliating thing being banned over 1 bump. If your account got banned you'd cry for months, so try to remember that when you GLEEFULLY report people

If your account got banned you'd cry for months, so try to remember that when you GLEEFULLY report people We've had a set of rules that have worked fine for years in place for years, if people can't take under a minute to read a set of rules much more basic than many sites out there I feel no sympy for them when they're going to sway so wildly away from them.

(Because that's totally what we talk about here... ) You made a sweeping generalization that Rider proved factually incorrect. In no way is that "gleefully report[ing]" someone that clearly broke a rule and has not yet been brought to justice, apparently because SMF Moderation™ is closed on Sundays. This "conversation" is in no way related to the "Most Uncreative Obstacles of all time", unless that "uncreative obstacle" is a user who has been on this forum for at least 2 weeks but yet has failed to read the rules of the forum and then made a post that in no way added anything constructive to the topic.

apparently because SMF Moderation™ is closed on Sundays. I wish we were closed on Sundays; it would finally give me the time to go through the reports. Well said. As TCM said, we do our best to monitor all the happenings on the forums not just to be in-the-know of what's going on in the community and the happenings of the show(s), but also to make sure there's nothing going on that is in violation of the forum rules. Unfortunately, there's only a handful of us that do this, and we can (and will) miss things, or gloss over certain things not thinking that they were in direct violation of a rule or multiple rules; things happen, and we're people too. But this one was out in the open for all to see, and even if we had 80 reports for the same thread, it would've gotten to us sooner than had no one reported it (as was this particular case, apparently). The Bottom LineIF you see something that's potentially violating the forum rules, report it, and we'll take it from there. Whether it's actually violating the rules or not, will be up to the admins and mods. But please for the love of god, report it; don't think "someone else will report it," just report it and we'll handle it from there. Whenever something is very deliberately violating forum rules, we quickly act on it and make sure that it doesn't cause any more problems than necessary; whereas less severe things such as necrobumps that are actually on-topic and are thusly allowed (even after 2 years, etc), we will usually discuss before acting upon. It happened, someone reported it, we got to the report when we could, and have acted accordingly. Please get the thread on-topic or find another thread.

While this topic is still bumped by the bumper, I need to say this. The Ni Ren Soritatsu Kabe was one of the most uncreative obstacles ever, you might as well have just said "clone the wall and nerf it".
