Might as well start an unfounded rumor this morning ;D
Daisuke Nakata's blog reports that Kane Kosugi came to see Muscle Musical. cf: photo of Kane with some MM cast.
Might this be the start of a reconciliation with M9?? Remember, you heard it here first.
Oh hell, while I'm on a roll...
Shunsuke Nagasaki didn't make Japan's trampoline world team this year, has graduated university, and might have some time on his hands...
OK, I'll stop now.

About shunsuke, remember before 22, he posted on his blog saying he wanted to come back but for whatever reason he didnt. I think I read somewhere that it had something to do with his management company or something.
As for Kane. Well thats interesting

Awesome!!!!!!! Thanks snowy ameblo.jp/nakata-daisuke/entry-10548391137.htmlBtw I think that's great news.. the fact that he did show up and was featured in Nakata's blog is.. significant.. I'm hoping that is good news for a return to Sasuke or Sportsman #1. So nice to see Kane smiling He's had a great year personally. He just got married! Would be interesting if Shun came back as well.. God I hope that blog helped..

If they both return to Sasuke I think they both have a chance of doing good considering how close the course is to how it was when they were at their peak pretty much (Well.. More Shunsuke than Kane but still)

I think Kane would still have a good chance. He's like Daisuke Miyazaki, but 3x as good.

I think kane is roughly the same age as Takeda, if not a year or two younger

Not so sure about Kane. Isnt he like 40 now? 1. Kane's only 35. Even if he was 40, he still could do well. Okuyama is 40 and he hasn't failed the first stage since 21. 2. Considering Kane's an actor he has to keep in relative good shape, especially with his action star roles. 3. According to the Wiki, he's the only guy with a 100% first stage completion rate, yeah he's only been in 5 tournaments, but 100% is 100% If he comes back, I'll think he'll do fine. At the least he'll fail towards the end.

Btw I think that's great news.. the fact that he did show up and was featured in Nakata's blog is.. significant.. I'm hoping that is good news for a return to Sasuke or Sportsman #1. I hope so too. And thanks for providing the link. I'm so bad at that: I would have screwed it up even if I'd remembered: Anyway, I don't want to make this a bigger deal than it might be, but given what we think we know about the enmity behind Kane's leaving, his visit really could be seen as significant. As is being featured in one of the more widely read of the MM castmember blogs. By the way, can somebody check the MM website or other castmember's blogs (Iketani, etc.) to see if there's anything there? My speculation is that somebody's trying to mend fences, and that the need for improved ratings is behind it. As for Kane's age? Piffle. He's still a whippersnapper in great shape.

I checked Iketani's and Komiya's blogs and they haven't posted anything yet. Rie was posting girly stuff as usual and Iketani hasn't done a weekend blog yet. I'll check later on the other MM blogs when I'm done my Sasuke related blog entry (should give you a hint as to how excited I was to see the Kane news).

Great!! I soo wanna see Daisuke back, if it doesn't mean hurting him again. And getting back Kane as well would be cool for us and good for ratings.

At the least he'll fail towards the end. It would really be awesome to continue his Stage 1 100% completion streak going if he comes back, especially considering how much more difficult the course has become. ;D Also, I'd love to see Shunsuke return in 26. If he hadn't missed all of the recent tournaments, he'd probably be one of the strongest competitors right now. Regardless, his and Kane's returns would both be pretty epic, not to mention likely to boost the ratings (which might mean more tournaments to come... ).

Wait..Iketani is SURPRISED that he was the heel and Kane was the hero?
Anyway, Kane is a bigger star than anyone in the Muscle Musical right now so it's not surprising that everyone was stoked to see him. Kane, Nakata and Iketani are all part of the same "generation" of SASUKE/Sportsman No. 1 competitors (pointed out by Nakata and Iketani).

Kane got married? Who's the lucky bride? I believe an actress (or is it a model.. not sure) from Hong Kong. Aahahahahha I thought you'd get the Iketani remark I was laughing when I read the bablefish disaster! Sounds more like sour grapes honestly but hey.. this is Iketani we are talking about! Yeah if Kane came back now I'm curious what would happen.. though I would see him back in Sportsman before he would be in Sasuke for some odd reason.. then again.. if they are desperate to raise their ratings again they might bring him back if he's willing to go back. Who knows. I for one like even the mere thought of it.
