Is it just me or the Jump Hang net is bigger than the previous ones when it returned for SASUKE 25? I know that we haven't saw it since SASUKE 23 trials, and that was almost 6 months ago.

It looks more like the slider jump net now.

The Slider Jump net was much more vertical that the Jump Hang. In 25, (I forget who), someone attempted the net part similar to the Slider Jump and lost a lot of time trying to crawl through the net. It's the same Jump Hang net as before.

It does seem as if the net itself is the same, though IMO it does seem closer to the water---but that's just me.

I agree with Yamfriend, it looked slightly closer to the water.

The slider jump net was made out of soft while nylon rope. The jump hang looks like it's mage out of coarse manilla rope (not that it makes much difference).

Hmm, never even knew that or payed attention to it. lol.
They probably changed it so it wont 'rip' again. Like Nagano in 22. Didnt the rope just split?

No, many thought it did, but the camera angle + the setting sun during his run made it seem like it, but it was just an unintentional camera trick. Had that actually happened, we would have had another re-run like in 23.

Wow, yeah I thought that was cleared up? The net didn't break. I was there, watched it happen, and took pictures of the net after (so I could build one) Still have the pic and there's no broken ropes. He just didn't get a good grip, it happens.
