LOL yeah I remember Seacrest as a social climber more than anything. Then again I don't applaud people like that so at least I'm consistent.. I still can't stand Seacrest LOL Plenty of people have risen to the top without feeling the need to claw their way there so it irks me when there are those who feel the need to be a complete jerk to be "infamous". I prefer the "famous" rather than "infamous"

I understand your views arsenette, but I'm not going to condemn someone because they do something wrong. Like you said he's just human. It's not like I will like someone no matter what they do, but it's not like Sato hijacked a plane and flew it into a building killing thousands of people. And it's not like he's some political leader who started a genocide killing millions of people.
Those are people that I can't forgive either, but this is just some regular dude doing regular things. I don't care if he had a hiccup or two.
That's just me though.

I just get frustrated is all when distasteful people who are there for their own glory are praised for the image they create. I just can't stand being attacked for having an opinion based on how they act normally (not isolated incidents). I happen to want to see exactly for the person that they are and judge them accordingly. They don't have to be murderers for me to not like their personality. Sato is high on the list for that reason. And no matter how many times I point facts I know people will continue to like him for the image he created. There's not a whole lot I can do about that. Same reasons why I don't like Yamada.

I understand, but I still don't why that makes him worse than anyone else. He can be an a*****e off camera if he wants.

The topic of the discussion is basically that you wanted to know what it was and several people told you. It's not my problem that you don't agree with the answer. By your definition alone.. it's perfectly fine for rapists, child molesters, thieves, thugs and whatnot so long as they don't murder people. Quite frankly there are a hell of a lot more classy people on Earth that exist without the need to belittle others to make themselves feel good. If you want to continue doing that feel free. I think you are in the minority when it comes to that particular thing.

Guess I'm just more forgiving than most people.

Of course, part of this for you may be a case of "It's only funny when it happens to someone else", but I think there's a more base idea you're missing. We're all raised with the idea that the "good" guys winning and the "bad" guys not. Sato and Seacrest are the "bad" guys, completely disregarding their fellow man, and yet they keep succeeding. I'm still ambivalent/favorable to Seacrest because his stuff is quality and he's done his time. I think Sato's a total putz, but I won't dispute his SASUKE cred. It's Wide Receiver Syndrome, I guess

I think because you donated to the site, that you are given special options that typically, only admins and mods have.
