Ok guys, I don't believe we've discussed it yet. How was the 24 broadcast in your eyes?
Splitting it into 6 parts might've been a good thing (and something they definitely should've done for 23), and I did like how they followed the story of the struggling All-Stars - and make Takeda's Stage 3 run the last one. Though they did, of course, make Yuuji's victory the last one (I mean, what else?). I kinda wish, though, they'd have followed the story of Yamada's (supposed) retirement, but instead they FF'd him (and Akiyama). But otherwise, it was better than 23 IMO.
'bout you guys?

Wtf they FF'd Yamada?
Hell I don't care if you hate him or not, they can't do that especially if he's serious about coming back.

yeah, I was shocked about Yamada as well. Over all, thought it was pretty good. It wasn't that bad, but they still had the typical G4 errors(massive skips and FF'ing clears. Like Lee...again)

That was my main complaint about the broadcast of 24, for them to FF Yamada.....WHY?!
With the way that (supposedly) they really talked about his retirement in the official one, it's really disheartening that they didn't talk about it at all since it was covered back around 8 and 9 that he could've retired then.

As well as 17, as he threatened to retire then too.
Not to mention, he talked about 24 being his last tournament after his run in 23 (which G4 SHOWED) - so somehow G4 had to screw it up again!

Cut and pasted from the G4 forums:
A couple notes since I finally got to peruse NW24. With the lack of pre or post show the errors were not as glaring.. though a few stood out. Bridge of Blades was not in Sasuke 24.. The X-bridge was. It even had an English name they ignored.. they are 2 different obstacles that had similar looks but were different in how they were passed (or not passed as was the case this time). What is the problem with Dave Wittenberg that he can pronounce Kanno when it comes to the comedian but not Kannnnnno when it's the gymnast? They have the same last name.. geez.. Yuuji did not build a replica in his house.. it was his friends house.. but then again.. G4 doesn't acknowledge his UNCLI group he's a part of. 5 Men in the final is not unprecedented... again.. they forget Sasuke history.. this happened in Sasuke 3.. a show they aired.. and for the love of God.. Yuuji is NOT a RIVAL!! Geez.. even the the final speech shows he doesn't think of this as a damn competition with the All-Stars. He's a friggin' All-Star fanboy how the heck is he a rival? Stupid G4 with their Survivor mentality which is rampant in US culture this day and age..
Editing problems that irked me though it shouldn't because i expect it at this point.. They FF alot of clears and cut All-Stars. Especially Yamada who I can't stand but TBS made a big deal about him failing and as a result retired after Sasuke 24.. He was not at Sasuke 25 because of it.. You would think G4 would make a big deal out of it after they bothered showing Yamada's speech in Sasuke 23 about his final push to pass Stage 1.
I can't even count the amount of typos and even stupid translations. Even something simple like Koji saying "Sugoi".. that means Cool or amazing not.. "He's strong".. I can't believe G4 people are paid to do this.. fans do a better job with less of a grasp of Japanese!
Don't get me started also on the fact that G4 refused to allow people to go to Sasuke 24 in place of the ones that were too busy professionally to go back (meaning Levi, Brian and Rich). Plenty of people including former competitor David Campbell were willing to pay their own way. Kinda irks me that NOW they make a fuss over him now that ANW is coming back on when they could have just sent him and kept a G4 person in the show. This was the first time since Sasuke 19 that they didn't send a competitor. Thanks also to their relentless pursuit to control the US market M9 finally closed the doors to any other Americans entering outside of G4.

Now I just remembered some other errors - Wittenberg called Katsuhito Nagata (the Olympian) "Yuji" Nagata....um, hello, are you not able to read names or something, Dave? And of course, he pronounced Komiya's first name like it was a type of bread (yet again). GAH.
It's really too bad that G4 and ANW ruined other Americans' chances of going back to Sasuke. Does this mean that Olympians (including Terek) are very much SOL?

"Stars" are under TBS/M9 direct invite irregardless of country. Especially Terek.. he's a Sportsman #1 Champion.

About the "Survivor competition thing": I have to disagree. M9 came up with that. And I thought G4 did a good job of showing how much Yuuji appreciated the All-Stars. The Bridge of Blades/ X Bridge thing annoyed me. And why didn't they come up with a better logo for the Rope Junction? And the whole "unprecedented number of final stage competitors..." But they didn't fast forward a single 3rd stage run! I was SO happy. This was a big mistake in 23 and I was relieved to see that they fixed it. Also, if the translation during Yuuji's Final Stage run was accurate, no wonder there was a controversy

arsenette: 96% agree. Sugoi kind of sounds like Tsuyoi(i believe that's how you say strong), so that mistake is understandable. Other than that, yep...mhm yep...

Wheres G4fan so he can post thisOlympians = Invited by TBS. In fact when G4 sent 6 people (Sasuke 21) TBS invited an American Olympian (Henry Cejudo).. Granted he dropped an F-Bomb and had to be fast-forwarded in the G4 broadcast but still XD

The announcer went on and on and on about Yuuji's new rubber shoes. When Yuuji transferred to the rope the announcer said something like "this is where his shoes are really going to help him!"
