Proof that portions of the audience like Nagano's charisma more than Yuuji's

copy&pasting my comment on the blog:
"The most attractive strongest fisherman!!" *sighs*...agreed...definitely agr-uh? *wakes up* Sorry...had to ;P I'm glad he's not having any doubts and keeps training. I didn't think about the lack of confidence affecting his run, but now that I think about it, I can only imagine how worried he was about that, especially after Sportsman No.1. I hope he he's more self confident next time. And that he gets some springboard training. The hanami thing must be cute! I'd like to do that someday. Hoping that cherry blossoms don't give me allergies LOL!
P.S. ARUKURI should be UL-CLI, right?

I like his Vow on defeating the UCH and going to the final stage - if anyone can NAGANO can as i said in another thread the first person to beat stage 3 IMO will either be Nagano Yuuji or Hashimoto.

Whenever someone "Vows" that there going to do something, it pumps me the hell up. I hope he gets to the final stage again. He IS Nagano, after all.

He could get to the final. Actually, if he passes the first stage he has a pretty good shot at the final.

Okie dokie updated the page with more translation. Pretty interesting stuff. I had an idea that the rolling log was faster but now we have confirmation. Dome Steps are steeper and obviously the Circle Slider is much higher.

Dome Steps are steeper and obviously the Circle Slider is much higher. I noticed during the broadcast that the track for the RM was steeper, guess I was right. That's probably because they have something over how the steps were, kind of goes without saying. Circle Slider I noticed it was farther away, which means in perspective it's kind of higher just because it's not as close as it was, so it's relatively higher since you're coming down on your jump when in 17 it was a bit before the peak of the jump.

Actually it is a lifted higher and it is further away. Both components is what killed him. He said what killed him was he didn't have the height. We both know he had the distance correct.

If anything he got past the ring with his dive. I mean being farther away makes it SEEM higher. Because the same height it took in 17 is not good enough anymore since what would have been perfect then has you coming down.. If we had a HQ of 17 I'd get a comparison shot..
Is G4 showing 17 this weekend? I'm desperate enough to hold my DSi up to the screen and get a pic XD

I'll say this now.. G4's schedule page is a mess..
But damn.. I was hoping they'd do one of the standard recap all tournaments thing like they did the past few times..
Well I'm ranting again which is why I called my blog what I did XD Anyways.. Well we have no HQ of any Sasuke 17 that the ring is visible in a screenap so I have no clue how to make a comparison pic...

You don't need an HQ.. just gauge where the body is (stick to people you know how tall they are).. Think of it this way.. Bunpei's little trick of one footing the circle would not have worked here.. And don't get me started on G4.. LOL We don't know what the full schedule is for the 17th yet so they might do something.. or.. they might do ANW again before Sasuke 24 because they can. Personally it makes exact sense (yes.. I know.. shocking) to do ANW preceding 23 since that is exactly what it was aimed at fielding. My hope is that they didn't reedit everyone in 23 so we get to see more of the competition since they already showed everything in it's entirety in ANW's last 2 episodes. (though this discussion should be in the 23/24 board.

I know at my school even if a "jumper" only does 1 event, he still practices them all, or did at one point in time. My friend only does the triple jump... but he's practiced hurdles, long jump, and high jump extensively. I'm sure Bunpei has plenty of springboard practice

Fine.. You want me to compare when Nagano grabbed the ring in 17 to when he was at his highest in 25? XD

You are the only one compelled to seeing how far it was.. I know it is.. I don't have to know the exact measurements like you do LOL

Now I know the different angle makes it seem farther in 17 but look at the frame and springboard placement. The springboard is a distance from the supports in 17 and it's right up on them in 25. I messed up on the nagano pic because he's already starting to come down. But his peak in 25 was passable in 17 (at least doing it it "Jun Kong style" (sounds like a Kung-Fu movie doesn't it? XD)) Holy crap I have no life...
