I don't think it's fair to take the "who clears it first" to its logical extreme. It ends up being who gets the smaller number.
In my eyes, both Takeda AND Nagano cleared the Cliff Hanger first.
So, if an All-Star, a New-Star, and an "Other"-Star (Takahashi, Okuyama) all clear the UCH in 26, they all were the first people to clear it.

jfeaathe I completely agree regarding first people who clear.
However I do not agree what you said about regarding Nagano and the SCH in 18, he could not pass it at that time, which is only natural considering it was new. He'd have gone in the water if he hadn't held the top part. I know this because he failed the SCH again at that event before 21,(Where Yuuji qualified for 21) However by 21 Nagano had upped his game and could clear it fine.
Even IF Nagano cleared it, the Grinding Ring would've finished him off.

Actually if you looked at the Final Ring and compared it to the Gliding Ring from 21, the ring itself seems to be not as thick so it probably weighed less so it wouldn't pull down on the track.. so the whole thing was probably just like how Kanno and Yuuji did in 23 and 24 when they went back. Or maybe it was just like how Lee had to do it in 24. Although we really don't know how it reacted since it was never reached os all we can do is guess..

Yuuji will be the first to clear. He didn't even look like he was trying on the shin-cliff in 22 and 24.

The Shin Cliff Hanger is like an X-Bridge compared to the Ultimate Cliff Hanger.

Well Hasmimoto at least attempted at the third ledge. The only reason why they all fell was cause they were unprepared for it. They all practiced the shin cliffhanger till they could do it in their sleep. Thats why they made it look so easy. Once the new cliffhanger is practiced it will also be easliy beaten by the elite.
