Great news everyone! G4 has lowered the age limit for American Ninja Warrior 2 from 21 to 18. So now alot more of us have a chance to make it to Sasuke 26! With news like this I'm hoping Sasuke 26 is some time after October. I believed it for a second too, but I didn't think of it as much since Im 21, so that my defense! That makes me ask though WTH is the age limit 21 to begin with? Its not like you have to do a shot between each obstacle.

Its not like you have to do a shot between each obstacle. Just being safe I guess. Most people say 18 is when one is an adult (so you can drink, smoke (which is 18 most places), get married (you are 'of age' to have sex/get married when your 17 in Illinois so that's weird considering other limits), but U.S. law says 21+ to drink, so even though you're entering in for a potential trip to Japan, the actual schematics of the contest takes place in the U.S. Not to mention most times, when you're 21 (unless there are situations out of your control) you have a job, are independently living (or at least paying rent). There are too many loopholes to jump through with 18, not as much with 21, so it keeps G4 just a bit less stressful to deal with (and considering its G4), the less stress the better. |

About the age limit of 21, I may be wrong, but I suspect that may have more to do with TBS than G4. Yes, there have been competitors under 21 in Sasuke before, but most, if not all, of them have had a parent/guardian with them. Here in America you're considered an adult (for most things) at 18. In Japan you're not an adult until you're 20. TBS/M9 may have a rule that anyone under 20 has to have a parent/guardian with them. I don't think G4 could afford to send 3 or 4 challengers and their parents. That may be why the age limit is 21. I don't know that for sure, but it would make sense.

I didn't really fall for it by clicking the link, but when I saw the title I got excited. Then after reading your first post of course I knew it was an April Fools joke, so you only half got me. Besides I had forgotten it was April fools day and I read that late at night when it almost wasn't april fools anymore.
