Damn some of you guys are harsh haha. Keep in mind that even Nagano tripped up a bit on the steps. Just goes to show that when you lose your concentration for even a split second on the course things can go bad.
Rider, I think the gap to the small ledge is one meter just like the old one, but I'm not 100% sure. I imagine you could Kongu-Kross to get to the ledge if you had enough strength remaining though.
It looked like when he jumped from the small ledge to the final ledge he jumped a bit forward though. I thought that the final ledge was on the same plane as the small ledge though. Or is the final ledge a bit forward from the small ledge?

the funniest thing about his steps fail was that he had a long intro then bam; he fails. Unless im thinking of someone else. Nonetheless, he rocks.

I actually missed his run. My connection crashed for some reason and I missed from 91 to 98. It stopped right after Yamamoto and when it came back Akiyama had 7 seconds left on the wall . Yet the question is if he can do the cliffhanger when he is tired? Or get to it in this case.

Wow---that's amazing. I'm surprised we already have someone beating a replica of it. I think you guys are right though about the specs on his UCH being a little off though. IIRC, the 4th ledge went down slightly, not to mention that some of the gaps seemed a little off as well. Nevertheless, still unbelievable, especially with his work on the with the first 2 ledges (they looked like they were at so steep of an angle that they didn't even seem possible to hold on to, especially the 2nd one ). After seeing this, I'm starting to see a UCH clear in competition sooner than I previously thought, i.e. in 27 or possibly even in 26, depending on who gets that far. Also, I'd love to see this guy go to Sasuke again, considering how much potential he has. He just got caught offguard by the Dome Steps, and if it weren't for that I could now picture him having done pretty well.

I think this is the 4th replica being built.. the fact that this one is the closest though .. and it's complete is utterly cool Yeah I felt bad the tripped as well. Heck, Levi had a 2nd run at it for the same reason though he balanced himself instead of falling in the water. Dome steps took a lot of people by surprise since they expected the steps to be identical to the previous ones. M9 threw a monkey wrench at them I'm having fun watching all the different replicas over there in Japan They go hardcore over there and don't skimp on materials

Woah! That guy is amazing!
A darn shame he tripped on the steps. His upper body strength is incredible. I really hope TBS sees this video and invites that guy back.

Very good to finally see it get done, after being able to visualize it I hope alot of people see that it was the shock and awe factor that made them think it was so impossible before, still the hardest obstacle on Sasuke, just not impossible.
This is gonna make me kick my a** into gear, Im buying a cam soon so I can film on my own for once and decided I wanted to film the new things I can do on my SCH before ripping it up, so now Im gonna get that done fast and just put the new one up already because it really was cool to watch it get beat by someone.

I guess it's because the structure holding the thing up would look "ugly". Props again, David

Is it coincidence that all the cliff replicas I see are painted red?
