What do you think was the biggest shocker today for you or the most surprising? For me it was probably when Shingo and Kanno failed the balance tank and also when Nagano failed the circle slider.

If shocking = surprising, then I would say Takeda's. And Yamamoto's too, but it's so typical for a klutz like him.

All four of those, and adding in Yuuji failing/DQing on the new Salmon Ladder and Levi failing the stick slider.

Both salmon ladder fails (takeda and yuuji)

Definitely Kanno on the balance tank. He's becoming the New-Star equivalent of Shingo.

Nagano, Takeda, and Yuuji's fail were really unexpected.

Yuuji's was both unexpected and hilariously crazy, edges out Nagano's. Levi would be up there but he was in the commercial, and you could see Takeda was waning on the rung before he fell.

As pretty much everyone has said, Nagano, Levi, Yuuji, Kanno, and Yamamoto's were all really shocking failures. I kind of had a feeling Takeda would fall cause he looked pretty beat, so that didn't suprise me too much. I'd also put Richard King up there. I really wasn't expecting that one.

I will have to think about this, basically I'll have to look back on where I was the most ecstatic or what made me *facepalm* the hardest. Biggest reaction: Nagano Funniest: ehrm, Takeda, no Yuuji...... Takeda Most unexpected: Yuuji Hardest to watch: Akiyama's, I was stone faced, then when they cut to the All stars they were channeling exactly what I looked like sitting here. Akiyama just doesn't have the "hop" that Nagano does on that obstacle. What do you think was the biggest shocker today for you or the most surprising? The fact that this thread is titled about the exact same thing I called it last year. Spoiler tags? Need not.

Well pretty much what everyone said here: Kanno, Levi, Shingo(even though I expected him to screw up somewhere I never knew it would be the Balance Tank.)

I could be like everyone else and put nagano or yuuji, but I'll be different. Brian Orosco. Everyone was so excited to see him go far in stage 3, and he doesn't look tired at all, then he just falls looking like he put in no effort at all. His run was over in seconds.

Im suprised no one said Rich King yet. I mean, he failed the log grip. And what about Matachi and Tajima's Circle Slider fails

Someone DID say rich king.
I wasn't surprised at Ryo failing. It didn't seem like they hyped him enough to be the first pass of the stage, and he was #6 so he was the guinea pig. I predicted he'd fail the circle slider... but his attempt was awful D=

When Yuugi failed, i couldnt see the bar. So I litteratly thought his shirt hooked onto the friggin rung. But still, I lol'd either way. Awesome he didn't get wet.
And Nagano. I thought he was going to fly by this stage due to his experience with the obstacles.
