I like both but I kinda wish it was still the Rumbling Dice. However, the roulette cylinder made it MUCH harder to grab onto the door handle obstacle. Oops, sorry I named the new obstacle wrong, I'm still a bit excited from the competition.

They should make the cylinder track longer. Thats pretty much it.

Roulette Cylinder. While it takes more effort to turn the Rumbling Dice it doesn't test your grip as much and you can use plain technique to breeze through the Dice, Also the dice aren't in conjunction with another obstacle

I'm a bigger fan of the Dice. I just think it's a bit more maniacal in the amount of force you need to turn it. I think once you get a rhythm on the cyclinder it's a bit easier to move.

Brian barely made it through and then failed the Doornobb Grasper. Much harder than the dice

I think it's harder than the dice, but I like the design of the dice more.
That and the track for the rhoulette is friggin short =p
Looks hard though.

It's a super weird start to the third stage. It was tough, but like the combo in 18, I think it will be changed.

After finally getting to see all of Sasuke 25, I have to say that I thought it was better, especially when preceding another obstacle without rest. It requires a better grip as well, which makes it more of a challenge than it already is. I was hoping that they would take my idea for the Rumbling Cylinder instead, though.

It may be harder... doesn't mean it's a better obstacle. I think the rumbling dice was ingenious. Too bad it got taken out to make the stage easier.

Easier definitely doesn't equal better on this board though I really liked the obstacle. It definitely looked hard and fun to try although I do agree the track could be a tad longer. Although, the cylinder doesn't move that much to begin with.

Rumbling dice wasn't "easy" though. Also considering it had a much longer track it is actually debateable on which is harder.

I know, but your saying that harder doesn't equal better, and i was saying that on this board, harder = better. At least it did before 25

For stage 3 I do think harder = better But it doesn't mean I think this new obstacle is better than the rumbling dice, design wise atleast. Just like I think Pipe Slider was an amazing design for the final obstacle of stage 3. It was just the perfect way to finish the stage. Rumbling Dice was the perfect way to start. I still like the new one, just not as much as the original.

That's cool. I think the new one is a great way to start off the stage. It takes awhile to complete and drains energy. I agree that it could be a little longer, but hey, its better than the Arm Rings

What about Roulette Cylinder + Arm Rings (with one of those bars between Arm Rings and Arm Bike in 18) then? Got to be better than the doorknobs.. or would that be too hard of a stage?

I agree that it could be a little longer, but hey, its better than the Arm Rings Of course! I don't hate it at all... infact it's my favorite "new" obstacles. I was so excited when I saw it in the navi! I was shocked when I saw how small the track was though! Then it being attached to another obstacle made up for it, I really don't have much to complain about with the stages. (Cept stage 4, I think it's horrible)

Definitely disagree that it's harder than the Dice. It's a bit awkward to handle, but it's a cylinder, it's designed to roll, it's not like you have to force it over for every turn. Your bodyweight does half the work for you. It doesn't seem nearly as draining as the Dice.

personally, I think the Dice is better, it still drains you and is pretty difficult. The Cylinder rolls, and if the track was longer it would be better.

It seemed to malfunction at the end. It should have a sure way of locking into place before transitioning to the Doorknobs.
It would have been MILES better by itself. The 2 obstacles together was a pretty poor idea IMHO.
Double the length of both of those obstacles and separte them. That's the best thing to do.

Although I'm a big fan of the Dice, this Cylinder really impressed me. The track may be shorter, but the amount of hang time is about the same, I reckon, since, because there are so many spokes coming off it, each movement causes the Cylinder to travel a comparatively tiny distance. Plus, holding onto a vertical bar is far more challenging than a horizontal one. This obstacle would present me with a real problem, since my hands sweat very easily. This wouldn't be a problem when trying to hold onto the Rumbling Dice's horizontal bars, but I might well just slide down the Roulette Cylinder's vertical ones. The Cylinder doesn't require nearly as much force, but I think it's far more strenuous, particularly on the wrists, and would require a higher stamina. So the Cylinder gets my vote ^_^
