I like it. Sasuke has been too easy for too long now. It's supposed to be the hardest obstacle course in the world. On top of that, I can't remember the last significant change to things. It was in 20, I think. That being said, I look forward to going to Japan this fall, trying out the new course and reporting back to you guys. Hopefully I can go really far. I like challenges. Technically, it is the hardest obstacle course in the world. Going up against Wipeout and ANW isn't really a challenge

In the first stage, I think the order is:
stuff Jump Hang Trials Obstacle with bungee rope slide Either Jumping Spider or Log Grip (it's something brown- I could be totally wrong.) stuff

Log Grip after Jump Hang and new obstacle?! This course will be confusing... I hope the Log Grip is altered in some way.

@ Oti: So much for saying that me doing my Shin-Cliffhanger front to back was useless lol... told you to expect the unexpected, you will be going in a right to left direction, and considering its on a steep angle training for that is important.
Oh and to anybody interested, I haven't taken much time on this yet but I have started looking at the gap distances, and (this is not a straight scientific method but its a start) i used a ruler to measure the guys arm falling from the cliffhanger, and it was an inch on my screen exactly, the first gap was an inch and a half(just over that) and if I were to assume he had arms my length(almost a guarantee to be shorter than my arms so this is an over-estimate) that measured in at roughly 3'9" so its not bigger than that and probably only the same size as the old SCH gap, the 2nd gap looks almost the same distance as well, its just got a larger fall to compensate for the lack of grip room. So largely pointless info for everyone but hey, when I spend more time on it to get the actual size it gives me a much better basis on how I will rearange my next cliffhanger.

I'm really waiting for someone to build a full scale replica of this new cliff-hanger.

I'm just gonna assume that the point of the extremely small ledge is not only for extreme difficulty, but also to keep people from swinging over to the next ledge in the way that most people did for the Shin-Cliff Hanger. Instead, I think that they want the competitors on Cliff Hanger v5.0 to do it like Takeda does the Shin-Cliff Hanger (i.e. not moving your left hand over to where the right hand is immediately before jumping to the final ledge, but instead keeping both hands together the entire time). There's simply not enough room to do the "move hand over" technique instead of the "Takeda" technique. If I had to guess, that ledge is only a few inches long at most.

I'm guessing 5 or 6 inches long. The big wall on the Cliff Hanger looks like it will get in the way.

I'm really waiting for someone to build a full scale replica of this new cliff-hanger. Expect me to come up with one that is not full scale... but extremely close to it.(looks so much funner than the traditional SCH so I am looking forward to it). I will be hitting the drawing board on how I want to build it, but I won't act on it super fast, I want to wait and see everything else thats new before I start that project.

Same here, Venom. I plan on building a few earlier obstacles first. After all, you can't face a stage three obstacle without making it through the first two stages.
