From what I've seen, I think that the translations have gotten a whole lot better. Like, instead of being completely off, they seem to be what the announcer is talking about, which is great. I watched Takeda's 3rd Stage run, and I have to say that the editing in some places is a bit awkward and well, bad. Apparently, G4 isn't into the whole repeating of footage thing as TBS is, thus making some transitions really weird.

Yeah, I noticed that too, although it still seems like the translations are just picking out a few words and guessing the sentence, that or I know Japanese subconciously. And yeah, It does make it a little weird, I'm glad they cut some of Takeda's and Nagano's rests, Although that makes it look like they're more badass than they are (Granted they are badass but not badass enough landing the Shin Cliffhanger and then running right to the Jumping Bars)

Mark didn't get injured at muscle park, he got injured a little bit before the competition started.
On the show it said he noticed it when he was doing the curtain cling.
One of the courses seperate from Sasuke for people who didn't get on the show, so gd knows why they even let him on it... that was a bad idea =/

Wasn't the one with the Curtain Cling the one you had to sign up for at least a week in advance? And the open one was the Spinning Log, Propeller Bars and Jump Hang one? And do since when was Rumbling Dice, Pipe Slider and Curtain Cling a good warmup!?

That's what I said... why would they be on it if they are doing the real thing and didn't sign up?
Could've avoided Mark's injury.

I know, Maybe if Mark did the easy course for a warmup he might have made it to stage 2.

Takeda and Yamamoto were allowed on the course as well.. I doubt they signed up. I can only assume they were considered Celebrities (ANC kids) so they let them on the course. Sucks we didn't see more of that .. we only got a "glimpse" of Takeda without his shirt and they didn't even show Shingo going through the course.

The Muscle Park segment is up on the G4 website for anyone (such as myself) who hasn't seen NF3 yet.
It was a surprisingly poor showing, lol. It's funny how people do better on the course than at Muscle Park. Saying that, Mark actually pretty much owned the obstacles, but had poor technique on the Cliff Hanger jump. Luci officially has better grip than Daisuke Miyazaki, lol.
When Mark and Luci had to go off with Olivia they had these looks that really seemed to say 'get us away from this crazy woman...'

I thought they were thinking the same thing.
And I noticed at MP that Mark just reached instead of trying the jump, considering what happened the day of the tounament that was probably a good idea.

I'm doing a blog on the competitors and wanted to double check a few things (comparing G4/TBS broadcasts).. could someone post (in order shown) the G4 broadcast? I'm still working on my blog and this will take another couple hours.. gah.. You don't even have to put the number shown .. just names in order of appearance

First episode:
Masahiro Matsuno (1) Kenta Ono (4) Wan Jen (9) Toshihisha Hirayoshi (10) Louis Yamada the 53rd (13) Ku Honpei (?) Katsuhide Torisawa (20) Yukei Miyamoto (5) Kevin Pereira (40) Kenjiro Ishimaru (30) (damn there was a really sharp cut in his run, the clock just skipped from 45 to 35 instantly) Luci Romberg (35) Lee Yen Chi (49) (and they explicity say he's the 40th challenger, lol)

Yeah I had to stick to the TBS one first before I started getting a migraine with G4 jumping back and forth.. holy crap... thanks so far for the help! Still in the 70's in here and even TBS is jumping around like mad.. but it's only in the Fast Forwards.

From the 2nd episode:
Mark Witmer (50) Daisuke Nakata (88) Shingo Yamamoto (71) Olivia Munn (27) Bunpei Shiratori (83) Takuya Miyagi (48) Brian Orosco (75)
3rd episode:
Naoki Iketani (93) Tomohiro Matsunaga (91) (Henry Cejudo got the fast-forward treatment after this.) Toshihiro Takeda (98) (Katsumi Yamada got the fast-forward treatment.) Daisuke Miyazaki (97) Levi Meeuwenberg (99) Makoto Nagano (100)
This is from pure memory - and having watched it a few times on G4 already, lol. And if you're looking for the order of stage 2 and 3 survivors....
Episode 4 (Stage 2):
Lee Yen Chi (49) Bunpei Shiratori (83) (Daisuke Nakata got fast-forwarded here....) Daisuke Miyazaki (97) Brian Orosco (75) Tomohiro Matsunaga (91) Toshihiro Takeda (98) Levi Meeuwenberg (99) Makoto Nagano (100)
Episode 5 (Stage 3):
Daisuke Miyazaki (97) Toshihiro Takeda (98) Makoto Nagano (100) (His stage 3 run was split into two parts)

With Henry Cejudo's F-Bomb I can see why they skipped it, I mean you can't really skip an olympian you acknowledged in the pre-show, But you can't say the f word on TV, I don't understand skipping Yamada's first stage and Nakata's second stage runs, I mean those were impressive how far they got for having injuries.

I totally agree. G4 dropped the ball on those two runs.

When did she say Oh s#it? And is it me or did the subs suck worse on her run, I mean they're always bad, but still, see the pic someone posted in the Ninjafest topic in the AotS forum I mean we all know what it means ("Wait"), But whats the point of subtitles if you're skipping a bunch of words.... OK, TV-Nihon does it good but at least they say what the word means.

Oh, and arsenette, looking at your competitor list, and re-watching episode 1, I think Harashima got fast-forwarded as well (I noticed him as one of the contenders failing on the Log Grip shortly after Aoki was FF'd). I don't think he was completely skipped.
