Yeah but poor Mark, he pulled a Brett Sims, getting injured right before competing, ugh.

Hold on guys I missed it, but where exactly did Kevin fail? His right leg hit the water at the bottom of the log grip. He never fell into the water since his hands held on.

Yeah surprisingly he didn't let go, he made it further than Mark technically.
I give him at least some props for not being a dunce like Olivia and making a better attempt than I expected.
BTW he was #40 if I read correctly.

Wow, I wonder how g4 was able to get ahold of kevin's run since it was cut from broadcast in the original tbs version.

Hey guys, I am not able to see G4 at all from where I am. So any and all important/exclusive info about Ninjafest 3 would be helpful. From what I got, Kevin failed the Log Grip, so I'll add that to the competitor list. But can someone fill me in on the other exclusive stuff?

Wow, I wonder how g4 was able to get ahold of kevin's run since it was cut from broadcast in the original tbs version. Just because it was cut doesn't mean they get rid of the footage... lol that'd woudl be stupid. They cut it down to fit into a 4 hour broadcast, but ti's not like they throw away all the footage they don't use. Scnoi: They had a really good pre-show in my opinion. An Interview with Higuchi, a lot of the all-stars talking with the americans, showing a bunch of competitors that were in it similair to the japanese opening of 21. They also told about mark's injury a bit, showed them at Muscle Park. They hung out with the japanese parkour group again. It showed a LOT of behind teh scenes stuff like teh massage rooms and refreshments and what they do while waiting for their run. That was probably the best part since it was never before behind the scenes stuff. They had a tester do a helmet cam run of the course which he failed on the flying chute. Not sure about any new competitors besides Kevin. Muscle Park: Luci: Beat Arm Bike Kev: Only attempted arm rings, got to the jump and failed Olivia: Didn't attempt Levi: Lost on cliff-hanger and MAYBE salmon ladder, he made the final notch but it looekd like he may have fallen right when he did it. Failed arm rings barely. Brian: Failed Cliff-hanger, maybe the salmon ladder, and arm rings. Mark: Failed Cliffhanger and Arm Rings Not 100% accurate ^ but should be relatively close As for the AOTS special we got to see Kevin eat whale penis.

You're not Monster9 though, they'd call that off the course. And looks like G4 already put up Kevins run. www.g4tv.com/ninjawarrior/videos/34856/Kevin_Pereiras_Ninja_Warrior_Run.htmlI'm actually surprised, I called it a few months back he'd fail the Log Grip but I expected him to fall, he held on but kicked the water. When I saw the jacket rip thing (and the sticky spray deodarant XD) I thought he was just going to try to be a joke competitor but he actually was taking it seriously but messed up the Log Grip, I mean its still a fail but if you're going to criticise someone for their foot hitting the water, Shingo gets complaints too, and thats not going to happen. So I got 3 calls proven in the same night! The Ladder, the Demonstrator AND the Log Grip!

In the wrap up show they mentioned Mark's 6 month recovery, and at the same time mentioned ANC4 and even said they'd hope he comes back!

All right, my thoughts....
....I'm a bit disappointed. Sure, it was exciting to get to see much success, obstacles not yet seen, but lots of stage 1 runs were cut (and I'm stunned that the fast-forward treatment was given to Yamada, considering what he had to deal with in his run), and....well? Our hosts? Let's just say AOTS's ratings ought to go DOWN....especially after Olivia's "run". What in holy hell was that?
But yeah, I enjoyed seeing so many victories again, and was amazed at how much tougher they made the Salmon Ladder in Stage 2. (I wasn't pleased they fast-forwarded Nakata, though.)
I didn't think it was possible to have a whole Stage 3 episode with only 3 guys, but then I didn't count on them splitting Nagano's run in two. But he looked good and I was glad to finally know what those new obstacles looked like.
But all in all, I think we should've gotten a bit more out of the broadcast.

You know something, I liked the behind the scenes stuff, but their way of showing the competition was horrible. And you thought Olivia's run was bad the way G4 shown it, it was worse in Sasuke Mania *eye twitch*

Okay anyone else utterly annoyed by Olivia acting like a complete jack-..... running up to Nagano like a psycho hose beast and interrupting Luci's interview with Nagano? W.. T.. F...
Funny how they tried to sanitise Olivia's ridiculous display BEFORE she started her run.. that's what the Japanese focused on.. At least I saw it in Sasuke Maniac.. GOod lord..

I know, Olivia should be banned from Sasuke, Kevin actually should have a chance again (considering he tried to be serious once he started)

I was surprised also at their lack of access to the All-Stars (might have been a blessing in disguise). Gone was the closeness that existed (like even being invited to dinner and even practicing in the parking lot). It seems that G4 existed in their own little bubble oblivious to the rest of the competition. Am I seeing it wrong?

You say it like its a bad thing! I think the All Stars are counting every blessing they have that they did not have the displeasure of meeting them.
