I was watching Xplay and they confirmed the date for Ninjafest 3 to be November 12th, and they said something about never before seen helmet cam run of the course (Was this shown in japan some time because I want to see that). And during the commercial break they're in as I'm posting this they just had a commercial for Ninjafest 3 which didn't show much, Sasuke 20 clips, 4 G4 viewers are hitting the course (You see Levi, Brian, Mark and Luci walking), Along with G4 hosts Kevin and Olivia (Shots of them at Muscle Park and Kevin watching someone fail), More Sasuke 20 clips about Levi made it farthur than anyone else last time, can he make it farthur than last time or something like that (We all know he doesn't).
So might as well let everyone know if someone wasn't watching this.

Meh, they did a head camera run on Wipeout as well. Not that impressive.

But that was Wipeout and not Sasuke, look at the Wipeout obstacles, then look at the Sasuke obstacles. You gotta at least be somewhat curious.
And they advertised showing Kevin and Olivia's runs so obviously G4 got a hold of those.

Or Kevin's run is the one with the head cam since he wasn't shown at all in the TBS broadcast...and that was the only way they could show how he did.

The Ninja Warrior page has been also been updated. Here's what it says:
IT'S BA-AACK!!!! NINJAFEST: FOUR G4 VIEWERS COMPETE FOR NINJA GLORY.
THIS TIME AROUND, THERE ARE HELMET-CAM VIEWS, PLUS:
5 NEW ACTION-PACKED EPISODES
4 FINALISTS BATTLING IT OUT ON MT. MIDORIYAMA FOR OVER...
3 HOURS OF NINJA PANDEMONIUM...AND
2 G4 HOSTS, KEVIN & OLIVIA COLLIDE WITH THE COURSE FOR
1 NIGHT ONLY!
G4'S NINJAFEST 3 THE ULTIMATE NINJA SHOWDOWN NOV. 12 - 7PM ET
Helmet-cam views. That should be interesting. I wonder if that had anything to do with Levi's extra flips.
3 hours-let's break it down:
5 episodes like they did for Ninja Warrior 20 = 2.5 hours
That leaves only enough time for a half-hour wrap-up show after the tournament.
The TV promos for Ninjafest 3 say that it's "4 hours of Ninja coverage" (not 3 hours like the website says). That is referring to a special Attack of the Show episode preceding Ninjafest 3 at 6pm. Tthey showed some footage of Kevin and Olivia at Muscle Park and some reaction shots of them on the Sasuke course.
It looks like this AOTS show will be absorbing the time traditionally reserved for documenting the ANC contestants in Japan leading up to Sasuke, which means that "Kevin & Olivia in Japan" antics are going to be stepping all over them. Just what I was hoping wouldn't happen. G4 obviously thinks that I want to watch AOTS instead. I would much rather see the ANC contestants visit Shingo Yamamoto at the Hasegawa Service Station than see Kevin Pereira in a sumo get-up. I guess cross-promotion is more important than giving the fans what they really want to see.

One major bonus to them doing expanded AOTS.. we will never see it again.. it's not part of the "Ninja Warrior" rotation when they start repeating everything.. like they did with the previews and the reviews.. if it's not part of Ninja Fest per se.. we only get to suffer through it once.. WHOOT.

Lulz. Its G4, They're going to show it as many times as they can, Its Ninja Warrior and Attack of the Show in the same hour, they're going to show the hell out of it.
And am I the only one who noticed they're showing this on a wendsneday like TBS did?

I noticed it too - I hope I'm not busy that night! My VCR doesn't seem to record automatically anymore.
Yeah. I predict that after seeing Kevin and Olivia all over the place before and during the course, AOTS's ratings ought to go WAY down. I'm talking boycott!

And then when they start airing new episodes again, the set's changed.

Uhm what...? lol... they ALWAYS show new episodes... I'm pretty sure the set doesn't change every-day, becuse AOTS doesn't do re-runs during the week days. They do-airing, but they always have a new episode out everyday.
He was just stating that some specials are repeated through the week different time slots, like the special where they went to Jamaica was on Monday, but it reshowed on Tuesday, wensday, and Sunday, and also like 3 weeks later.

But most of it I hope will be encompassed in AOTS. (thus allowing to do what I always do.. IGNORE AOTS..).. what I meant was when they reair "Sasuke 21" in the Ninja Warrior Timeslot it won't be AOTS stuff.. I hope..

Despite what some people are saying, it says on the g4 schedule that there will a special AOTS from Japan special at 6, a special ANC preview episode at 7, 5 NW episodes at 8, and the wrap up special at 11.
At 10:30 will be the premier of G4's new show "Human Wrecking Balls" putting a new show on a special tv night is a basic tv strategy for attracting viewers to a new show.

That's similar to what they did with the season premire of LOST. But they had this golden ticket thing with Eli Stone to get people to watch it.

People are probably saying otherwise because of not wanting to watch AotS, I remember how everyone complained how it went from Break Moments of De-Evolution to ANC3 Results.

My other concern if there is a new show they want us to watch.. kiss being able to read the subtitles goodbye.. Nagano's famous speech about what is most important was covered up by a farking "HURL" Banner that went right across the text.. I expect the same nonsense this time..
