Yamamoto and Takeda in 7 and 15. Both suceeded where everyone else failed and were the last man standing.

I concur with Nagano in 21. It was much the same as 9, where he pwned all the obstacles except for the jump at the end, but this time the obstacles were so much harder. For me, it's somehow more fun to watch an attempt where the competitor beats all the obstacles except for the end jump, rather than a completely successful one.

Why do you say so?
And while I did mostly prefer Nagano's run to Takeda's run in 21, I do concur that it was just something to see Takeda be the first to defeat the shin-Cliff Hanger. That was awesome to see.

I dunno, I guess it's schadenfreude. For me, watching people fail is fun; the further they get before they fail, the better. Don't get me wrong, winners are good and all, but really, I watch Sasuke for the fails.

Watching Sasuke for the fails huh? Yeah I think I'll have to agree too. Its fun seeing people that look like their about to complete an obstacle or stage, then surprisingly fail.

Unless someone is racing against the clock and just hits the button in time, then we're all happy they win and everyone gets to cheer. and if it's a part of the course we haven't seen before, we don't want them to fail.
Under given circumstances, it goes either way.

It was 16. It was the run before Shiratori's run. Nagano's was the last run. He was #100. I think G4 showed Shiratori last though. I watched 15 not long ago, and they show Nagano the first to attempt Stage 2.(I knew that is not true because he failed) Nagano's run in 17.
