I think everyone here agrees that Nagano would be a two time champion if not for that slip up on the Jumping Spider.
But the question I have for you today, regards the Warped Wall. I was taken by surprise when he had to try again once he got to it, now everyone makes the odd mistake now and then, but the thing is he did it again on his first stage re-run too. Coincedence? Maybe
Let me know your thoughts down below.

I see three tries or maybe even more because he had trouble last time like Shingo and Shingo time out on the Tarzan Rope after three tries so yeah three tries

Just a plain coincidence imo. He's never failed the wall after his first two tournaments, and there were instances back then as well where he flubbed a try. I made this "obstacle" that I practically mastered, but I mess up and fall every once in a while as well (I just did today matter of fact).
He's human, it happens. Although I tend to disagree with the whole two-time champion thing.

I'd say one and done, 23 was just a coincidence imo much like his flub on 16's wall. Plus, look at how well he's done since then.
Also, I'd disagree with the whole two time champ argument. Nagano had his legit chance to win it in 23.

I dont know. I think he was just rushing in 23 and got tired at the wall and considering he rushed again i said 2 tries.

There was never a unanimous agreement that nagano would win if he didn't fail the jumping spider...
in the 5-17 era he got 3 shots in a row at the final stage and didn't win. Plus that's assuming he even got to the final stage.
Now I'd say he would've had a good chance to win, but it was nowhere near a definite. There are plenty of other obstacles he could've messed up on.

Off-Topic: I think he would have won. But we should make another thread if we want to discuss this. On-topic: two tries IMO.

There was never a unanimous agreement that nagano would win if he didn't fail the jumping spider... Alright haha well I guess I was wrong about that. I think he would've, everything basically stayed the same and 23 was only his first try at that final, Yuuji improved on his second try, so I think Nagano would've too. But yes I guess that's another thread for another day.

Nagano would have won in 24 easily had he got to stage 4 again! Anyone who denies this is a FOOL =D.
Back on topic I think he would have gone up the warped wall in one!
