Even though I mostly agree with sheep, that's some pretty good ideas. Especially the spiderwalk as end of stage 1. We recently had proof that rushing on it can be extremely dangerous (sigh..)...the final rush to the button would be quite awesome.

I actually fairly liked those courses(except for pushing the object forward in stage 1) but I also agree there were not enough new obstacles. Though I must admit at this stage in the game its getting harder and harder to come up with new obstacles as so many have been in the show already I bet even the course designers themselves are running a little low on ideas(though I will hold off judgment until I watch Sasuke 25). I really liked the final stage a lot and think that would be a good final stage, but maybe having it on an slightly oververted angle would be better IMO.

I've said it a million times but im going to say it again. Bringing back old obstacles isn't the answer, most of that course was just old obstacles moved around. we need to move forward not back. Yes... but I'm a sucker for the pipe slider

Mind if I ask why? I've never gotten what the big deal is with the pipe slider.

The Log Grip will be good with the Rolling Log track.

I've always found the Pipe Slider more about luck than skill. Getting to the end was never a problem except for a couple of competitors.
It seems the big thing was if the pipe would "stick" at the end. Sometimes it would, and sometimes it wouldn't at all. Small variations in the repeated installation (they had to do it every tournament) would undoubtedly caused there to be some change. The release was never something that could be controlled.
The Gliding Ring was more fair because it truly was all about the leap (even though I could have even done it. Ok, maybe not but...)

I found the trick to jump far on a pipe slider even when it slides forwards and back when you gather momentum, so their honestly is skill involved there, but thats it. No skill is involved for the act of moving forward on the obstacle. Its one of the easiest obstacles I've ever built and it isn't even hard when I add 50 lbs to myself.
I've got to wonder though, the orange stuff all over the rest of the stick that does not touch the metal bars, I wonder if that wouls stick to the bars better, maybe just slide all the way to the end then position the stick your holding so the orange stuff is resting on the bars and you could jump freely. Doesn't matter to me personally if that would work since like I said I took time to actually learn the jumping part to avoid failure at the very end(If pipe slider ever becomes a final obstacle again) but that thought could help anyone else out in the future.
