It's kinda how Yamamoto went from 31 to 93 in 23. Kawahara went from 31 to 91. A real shame he didn't make it. I think it was also because the younger guys are now starting to get the high numbers, and not just people like Yuuji and Kanno. With people like Hashimoto getting 85 and Sato getting 78, I think they are really starting to put the spotlight on the new guys. Plus, besides Hiromichi Sato and Terukazu Ishikawa, Kawahara is probably Muscle Musical's best shot at clearing for a long time to come. That was really cool that we found that out together sheep.

I still don't understand why Kawahara can't fix his mistakes. Obviously he goes to slow on the course because he's always low on time, has he not noticed that pattern yet? Bleh.

Maybe he just doesn't have the speed in him to go faster? Those obstacles can really wear you down. He also might be very careful when attempting obstacles. See Curtain Slider: Sasuke 23. He has the potential to go far..but first he needs to break the first stage barrier.

Man, I'm really starting to bad for Kawahara. Although he is yet to complete Stage 1 (despite getting so close every time), they don't even give him much attention during the actual broadcast. Perhaps he'll gain more spotlight in the next era of Sasuke, which I'm sure all of us would like. Oh, and of course not to mention that he at least gets past Stage 1 once.

I'm predicting he either passes the First Stage ala Bunpei or Brian in 21, or gets digested again failing just short.

They give kawahara plenty of spotlight for someone who hasn't beaten stage 1. He's shown quite a lot.
