Hello Everybody! (Boy I have a lot of catching up to do on these forums)
As you may be aware, the results of Sasuke 24 lead many to believe that there may be some (yea, only some) changes on the course come Sasuke 25.
With the level of uncertainty at its highest and the Sasuke Guessing Game celebrating the big Five-(point) O, I feel it's time for some new changes.
Which, leads me to all of you. What are your suggestions for rule changes for Sasuke Guessing Game V: Renewal? It can be any idea you want. (Just don't make it too stupid)
I have a few ideas of my own, but I'm always open to suggestions. Just keep in mind that I reserve the right to use as many or as few suggestions as I want.
(Happy posting! ^.^)

Uh, wait until the Navi and see if the obstacles are revealed?

2 problems with that.
1) What if they aren't shown? 2) Navi is sometimes only 1 hour before the show anyway.
My suggestion: Have the people guess just how many obstacles cleared and how many new obstacles in each stage. Not the greatest and needs work, I know.

Or maybe still guess first/second/third/fourth stage clears and then just rank the 20-25 competitors based on their performance. For example if you had Nagano, Urushihara, Takeda, and Sato in SASUKE 24 you would say 1. Urushihara 2. Takeda 3. Sato 4. Nagano for full points.

Anyway, I think that is the best way to go about it. I also need to remind myself to actually enter the contest next time.

I'd do the following catergories:
1.) guess the number of obstacles in each of the first three stages 2.) guess the time limit in the first 2 stages 3.) guess how many obstacles will be new 4.) guess how each competitor will do (like everyone's suggesting) 5.) guess number of clears in each stage 6.) guess what number prominent competitors will get 7.) guess the stage each person will fail on

Have this one as a special for the new course and go back to the classic way for 26 on

eh, we can still as easily do the original, it'll just be a bit more random since we don't know all the obstacles.
Also, if we stick to the traditional way, you need to add a few people. We've wanted Koji for like the last 3 guessing games!
Koji Tajima Kawaguchi Kawahara
etc

Ah yes, I knew I forgot to mention something. If you're going to suggest people, please provide pictures and the full name of the person. You know I suck at remembering people.

Koji Hasimoto - Made it to the final stage in 25, that should be enough
Taijima Nayoh (sp?) - The guy who failed on the gliding ring in 24 because he forgot to take it off of the stopper.
Kawaguchi Tomohiro - Failed the Unstable bridge in 25, and has been a Sasuke Qualifier int he past, most Notably Sasuke 21.
Takuya Kawahara - Been in almost every tournament since 17. He is a muscle musical member. One of the events he does in Muscle Musical is basically the Salmon Ladder. He's never passed stage 1 but he's gotten close quite a few times. He's almost always there and almost always shown. First person to ever try to Slider Jump aswell.

As for scoring for this, you could probably just give a certain amount of points for each correct spot on the list. As for jfeathe's ideas, they also sound pretty good, though IMO it would be better to have only 1 category in this version of the guessing game than 7 of them. Just providing feedback... ;D

That idea isn't so good. If you have as much as 1 person out of order you'd wind up getting 0 points.
So you'd have scores of 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 15. hey, the guy with 15 points wins...
Or everyone would have identical lists and there would be ties out the wazoo.
I think it's a terrible idea personally.

Some people might recognise Koji and Sato better from their 23 runs. HashimotoJun
