IMO, 24 was also rather flawed (i.e. not as good as 23 and 19) because of the huge number of Stage 3 clears. Not only did 5 out of the 7 of them pass it (which is just ridiculous considering that nobody was even doing so until 2 tournaments ago, as well as showing that Stage 3 became a joke like I think Badalight said somewhere on here before), but of the 2 failures one had to end up being Takeda
, PLUS nobody failed Stage 3 early on. After all, the earliest (or should I say earlier) of the fails was by Takeda on the Spider Flip---the 7th of the 8 obstacles. Also, Tajima would've almost certainly passed as well if he didn't have his slip-up on the Gliding Ring---the final obstacle of Stage 3. Point blank, all I'm trying to say is that so few changes were made to Stage 3 in Shin-Sasuke that competitors who reached it (especially in this tournament and even 23 to an extent) were generally able to do very well on this stage. So although I agree with a few of the points that yodauo was trying to get across (most notably point #3) and G4's opinion on some of the other points, I honestly think that the main reason that 24 wasn't as "perfect" as 23 and 19, the overly-successful Stage 3 results ruined this for me. Don't get me wrong though---I still enjoyed most of the tournament nevertheless!
Also, I know this may be a little off-topic, but since nobody has seemed to calculate the average number of Stage 3 obstacles cleared by each competitor in Shin-Sasuke tournaments, so here they are in case anyone is interested in it/so I can get my point across! ;D
