Kenji Takahashi? He like stopped at the ending? What happened? It was difficult to see with the stream, but what it looks like what happened was As he was climbing the G-Rope he kept getting tangled in his safety harness and couldn't keep climbing

He also was going very slow to begin with so even if untangled I doubt he would have had enough to get to the top on time

He was the fastest ladder climber. He had to stop once to untangle himself. and still climb it as fast as Yuuji. And he stopped atleast twice to untangle himself. Idk i think he could have done it, but i really dont know.

As he was climbing the G-Rope, he actually spiraled around it. In doing so, he actually wrapped his safety cable around the G-Rope.

Yeah, seems that he got tangled in the rope too. I really hope they change the final stage and there's no more rope climb. Time for something new...

Yeah, seems that he got tangled in the rope too. I really hope they change the final stage and there's no more rope climb. Time for something new... Good luck with that, the only thing that will change is possibly the number of rope climbs in the future.

Or they can do that final stage that Nagano failed in Viking...that was pretty funny.

I think it was Oti who said this a long time back but... Vertical Arm Bike! (+ rope climb)

As I watched it, half asleep, I saw what Rider did. I thought to myself that guy on the top of the tower doesn't look like he's doing his job very well....

Hardly. Him getting tangled up was solely his own fault. It's not like Nagano in Stage 1 of 23, where it was a mechanical failure.

Him getting tangeled up was fixable. It's after he got tangeled when he grabbed onto the safety line as if it were the rope the guy at the top wasn't able to fix it because Kongu was holding onto it. That's what ultimately messed him up.

Not sure, but there's probably some sort of intricate engineering hoo-hah that makes it work.
I guess if they ever go with a setup like Viking they could make the horizontal part a really long Arm Bike.
